"H..How did you know?" Daniel asked. "There was a person who created pipe bomb but it was stolen by someone who placed that bomb in your home a year ago." the caller said.
Daniel then remembers. After his grandpere death an investigation lead to one single person, however he was innocent and the case went cold
"Anyways I herd that you where one of the kids who discovered the body of baker Aker right?"The caller asks. "Yeah but what does it has to do with anything?" Daniel asks. "Well remember what I said someone stole my bomb. Well he also stole other of his stuff as well, one of them was my knife that the officers recovered from the murder which means the same person who placed that bomb on you table." "the caller explains.
"I can't even believe that. All this time." Daniel said "Anyways I want your help." The caller asks. "And why would I do that." Daniel said "Well to get justice from the person who killed your grandfather. And from what I believe he's lives in your town as well so who else is he going kill next? It's your choice." the caller said.
Daniel took a look at his keychain. And think about his friends. What if they're killed? If he got to Wednesday? Miss Elaina, Katerina, No he couldn't bare it. And Could his family be next?
"Sigh... alright I'm in but where do I start." Daniel asks. "Well do you have time?" The caller asks. Daniel then look at the time on his bedroom clock. It was almost 7pm. "Hold on."
Daniel then went to his parents. "Mom, Dad, can I go for a walk."Daniel asks. "Sure just be back before 8:30." his dad said. "Great thanks." Daniel then Walked back to his room and got back to the caller.
"Okay i got like an hour and 30 minutes." Daniel explains "Good I found something that might be interesting east near the tunnel so go check it out." the caller said "Okay, I'll keep you on hold. Daniel then walked out his house and walked east where a tunnel is located." Daniel said.
(A bit later)
"Alright I'm here now what is what I'm looking for?" Daniel asks. "Look around, there should be a door covered by some bushes." the caller explains.
Daniel then look around. Eventually Daniel found the door.
"Okay now open it and walked inside." the caller requests. Daniel open the door and walked inside. There was a long hallway that goes under ground, he had to use his phone that had a flashlight that he installed to see where he's going. Eventually there was a ladder. Daniel then climbs the ladder down and to another hallway that goes even deeper under ground.
"What is this?" Daniel asks. "Well from what I herd it's a fallout shelter. It was built during the Cold War and this hasn't been used in years but someone has been here." the caller asks. "And is that why you want me to go down here?" Daniel asks.
"Correct I suspected that he could be the killer but there's a chance that it could be someone else." The caller said. "Ok but wait why don't you do it yourself?" Daniel asks "Well short story I'm in deep trouble with the law." the caller explains.
"Great I'm doing work for a criminal." Daniel said out loud "I herd that. but don't worry I won't do anything bad to get you in trouble." the caller said
Daniel continued walking till he reached a heavy door and open it. Daniel sees a room with a couch. Couple of bunkbeds and a rack but no food. And sees a table with some paper.
"Okay I'm inside."Daniel said "Good now try to find anything that might be useful for us." the caller explains
Daniel look around. Found some guns and weapons, and a black suit with blood on it. Then Daniel the took a look at the papers on the desk.
"Ok let's see what we got." Daniel said.
He finds the papers on the desk but some of them are ripped.
Daniel saw it and wonders who didn't like baker and what did he do to force him kill him?
Daniel then tries to turn to more pages but some of them were ripped but at the end of the book it says
why would the chicken get cross the road. To get to the other side.
Daniel was confused by this, it was a joke but why was it at the end of the book?
"Hey you there?" The caller asks. "Yep still here." Daniel replied "Well did you find anything?" The caller asks "Not much. A couple of guns, weapons, hunting gear, some ripped papers, boxes but there's not much time for me to check out." Daniel explains.
"Okay you better get out of there and try to put some of his stuff back where it is so he doesn't know we're here" the caller said.
Daniel puts back all of the stuff and leaves the bunker but before he leaves the room he sees a loose brick near the door. He pulls away the and finds a map
"Hmm this will be useful." Daniel took a look at the map and it was of the neighbourhood with x markers in random places.
"Hey I just found a map of neighbourhood with X marks on random places, I'm gonna snap a picture of it" Daniel said "Good but make sure you put it back when you do it" caller said
Daniel took a picture of it on his phone then puts it back.
(A bit later)
"I'm out of the shelter but it's almost 8:30" Daniel said "All right you get back home, i'll call you again when I'm available after school." the caller said "Okay." Daniel then Ended the call and went back home.
(A bit later)
"I'm back now." Daniel said "Oh good. It's starting to get dark out there, anyways what did you do?" Daniel mother asks. "Nothing much." Daniel replied "Okay anyways did you homework today?" his mother asked "Alright done that, I'll be in my room." Daniel said exhausted
Daniel went to his room and sits down on his bed and took out his phone and looks at the picture of the map he taken.
(Daniels mind: "I wonder why this map is important and why does it have X marks on certain areas? Wait what if")
Daniel puts his phone away and starts thinking. There's a chance that Daniel could find out who killed his grandpere. He stairs at the moon from his window.
