Alain and I sat on a bench gazing up at a white tower at the center of the city.

"What is that, Alain?" I asked as I unconsciously folded my sandwich wrapper.

Alain swallowed his last bite, and looked at me. "It's called Prism Tower, and it's also where the Lumiose Gym is located. You should wait until you have a few badges before you challenge it though. It's one of the tougher gyms."

"Oh. Okay." I said feeling a bit out of it. Kirlia hopped up onto my lap, and continued eating out of the can of Pokémon food I had given it. I ended up smiling.

Ever since Alain had assured me that he would stay with me, The Power of Life hadn't activated. I hadn't been feeling the emotions of others, and I haven't felt my body pulse from the extent of the power. Everything had returned to normal. It was nice.

I looked at Alain, who had pulled out his phone. "What are you searching up?" I asked. Alain swiped once more then showed me his screen. On it was a large white building, decorated with blue and silver decorations and signs all over with a pink heart and crown symbol on them.

"Is that...?" "It's a Showcase Hall in Santalune City. They're holding a showcase soon. You should go see what it's really like before you enter one. It's good to be prepared." Alain told me, and took his phone back. "There's also a gym there. You should work on expanding your team and then challenging it. We can work on that on the way there. It will likely take a day to reach the city."

I looked up at Prism Tower again. Off on our way again. I closed my eyes, then I wrapped my arms around Kirlia and her can of food, and stood up. "I need to do something." I said. "Give me two hours." I then started off down the street. "Wait! Kia!" Alain called, but I didn't look back. I needed to do this before I left Lumiose City.

"Kirl?" Kirlia asked as I slowed down. I looked at my partner and smiled, closing my eyes happily. "So much has happened Kirlia. Alain has given me the opportunity to follow my own path, and my own dreams. I'm actually excited. I want to show the world that I'm no longer bound by my Clan."

I opened my eyes and gazed ahead. "Kirli, kirlia." Kirlia said happily.

It was time for a big change.

"Well. How do I look?" I asked, from Alain's left. He had been staring at the ground, and quickly straightened at the sound of my voice. When he saw me, however, he stood up, eyes wide.

I closed my eyes happily and grinned. Right now, Alain was looking at a girl with really short hair, which had been dyed a mossy green. I was wearing white shorts with my Pokéball holder belt equipped with a new buckle, and an extension for more of a designer look, along with a black prince style crop top, with a long, thin black jacket over that. I had also gotten a new bag, which was bigger than my last one. In it was the food, potions, and Pokémon food I had already purchased, along with some packets of baking soda, baking powder and salt, a small bottle of white vinegar, my mess kit, water bottle, first aid kit, small blanket, an apron, my wallet, a new change of clothes, my night gown, a dress and a pair of boots to match for when I perform, a small accessories box, my badge case and key ring, a small sheet pan, a small treat box, small cutting board, two small, collapsible mixing bowls, a mixing spoon and whisk, a knife, and a icing bag.

I had organized everything perfectly, so it all fit, and there was still some room. I had also put Kirlia's Pokéball, along with the Pokéball Alain had given me, and four more I had purchased, on my belt. This was my statement. A change to start my new life.

I opened my eyes, still smiling. "Do I look okay?"

Alain's eyes softened and he approached me. He then slid his hand through the hair on my right side, before smiling. "It looks good. I think it suits you."
