I was there with you,
When your mother sought to know,
In moments of triumph, joy aglow.
I was there with you,
As you claimed the highest rank,
In our cherished game, together we sank.
I was there with you,
By the seaside, waves crashing near,
Hand in hand, casting away all fear.
I was there with you,
Running through raindrops, wild and free,
Soaked to the bone, hearts dancing with glee.

Walking to school, side by side,
Sharing laughter, secrets, dreams, and stride.

As you reached the haven called home,
A refuge, a sanctuary, where love would roam.
