Introduction to the Snow

Y/N sighed, opening her glistening brown orbs as the dawn's milky light streamed through her windows. She gazed out at the sun, which had begun it's ascent. She sighed once more - being godblood wasn't easy.

Oh, wait - I suppose I forgot to inform you of Y/N's... "quirks".

Y/N was what was known as godblood. She possessed the same soul as a god - specifically, the goddess known as Dnuoftonmaerd who was a goddess from a distant reality. Plebs from this reality who didn't also have the ability to travel through the astral plane didn't get it. Y/N had also been blessed with the powers to travel through various dimensions, including the astral plane. She had communicated with several deities, even Jesus Christ himself! She decided to see what was going on today.

Hopping onto the astral plane, she was immediately greeted by her interdimensional teacher. He had special powers, just like her, and he had chose Y/N because he saw her talent and importance. "Finally, Y/N! You're always late, what a mink," he scoffed.

Y/N felt a sense of superiority upon hearing the term "mink". She had far more advanced knowledge of other realms than any of these foolish MORTALS, ugh, they were such Trojan horses - she knew the terminology from realms far beyond on her own. Mink was one of these slang terms, meaning she was a mischievous little crackhead, can't take her anywhere! "So, Y/N, today I'm going to try to teach you-"

The man's words were abruptly caught off by a hazy purple figure swiftly zooming away. "My soul!" Y/N screeched, and the two began to run after it, frustration washing over the pair.

Y/N's soul was not like the other souls, as it had an exceptional case of the zoomies. This was caused by it's angelic blessings. It was too much of an important soul, it would simply break the laws of any realm around it and begin to zoom away to somewhere more fit for it's greatness. Upon catching the runaway soul, Y/N giggled, "Wow, soul, you're so quirky, we can't take you anywhere!"

Y/N's teacher gazed at the soul in disapproval, and back to Y/N. "Y/N, we need to have a talk about this," he told her sternly.

"Yesssss...?" Y/N responded, a hint of mischief tainting her tone.

"Your soul's zoomies are making it a pain for me to teach you. Despite my best efforts, you're uncooperative in any efforts for me to get this under control. Besides that, I have a new student now, and if you can't get your zoomies fixed I may have to relinquish you as a student, as it would be too much to handle."

Y/N stumbled back a little, taken by surprise. He's supposed to be a mentor, he couldn't just leave her, right? Despite his reputation for being a bit of a pillar, someone with a stern attitude, Y/N was special. She wasn't like other students, she had talent the others could only wish for. "W-w-w-w-w-w-what do you want me to do, s-s-s-s-s-sir?" Y/N stuttered slightly in her response.

"Something about this," the man replied gruffly.

Y/N began to feel frustration boiling inside of her. Fine, maybe I'll just let him drop me, she thought, would be better than having to deal with this for all of eternity. Besides, maybe I could find someone better suited to handle my talents. I know my strong spiritual abilities can repulse some people.

Y/N sighed once more, recollecting herself. "Right, sir - I-I t-think I need some time to think about this."

"Very well. By the time we meet tomorrow, I'll expect something to be done about this."

After using her special powers to teleport back to the physical world, Y/N swiftly picked up her phone, dialing in the familiar string of numbers that would grant her access to the voice she'd want to hear most in this troubling time - that of her best friend, Envi. Envi was blessed with the same powers she was, and she felt lucky to have found someone like them. After a few repeating high-pitched tones, Envi picked up the phone. "Y/N? What's up?"

"I-it's really important."

"Well? Also I'm with someone else. His name is Harry Ice. I met him on the astral plane."

"T-that's cool. B-but, my astral mentor threatened to drop me due to my soul's case of the zoomies! A-a-and, he has a new student, so his workload is extra so he can't take time to help me work on it! Why must I be this different? Why can't I just be like everyone else?" Y/N lamented.

"Hm. Maybe you should see an astral doctor about this. After all, they're far more experienced than the losers in the physical world. We're just not like them, they wouldn't know."

"T-that's a great idea! T-t-t-t-thanks, Envi!" Y/N thanked them before hanging up.

Y/N reveled in her extraordinary teleportation abilities. She was quite skilled, if she could comment herself. She directed herself to an astral doctor. "Hello?"

"Yes, hello... what may I help you with today?"

Y/N paused for a second, wondering how she should share this absolutely amazingly unique and intriguing piece of information. She released yet another sigh from the depths of her chest. "M-my soul. T-there's something wrong with it."

"What are you experiencing, exactly?" The doctor met her gaze with concern, to which she responded, "I-it has the zoomies."

The doctor's eyes lit up, and she responded, "Oh, I know exactly what this is! One moment."

The woman rushed into her office, and returned momentarily with a bottle of pills. "I assume you know what this is caused by. Your soul is angelic, blessed by angels and every god and goddess to ever exist, and it is trying to escape to the higher realms. These will help calm it down, just take one a day, alright?"

Y/N nodded and threw out a quick "Thank you!" before merrily skipping out of the office. She didn't have to pay, as her mere presence was payment enough.
