Next day I went to school and atmosphere was somewhat tensed.

as soon I reached my class. one of my classmate said "y/n, principal sir asked for you. he told to inform you about this"

"oh, thank you" I gave a small smile which she reciprocate.

I entered the principal office "you asked for me, sir?"

"sit, miss y/n" he said and I noticed that there was someone else also present.

"Mr Kim would like to have a word with you, miss y/n" principal sir said and the seriousness in his voice made me Shivered.

"G-good morning, sir" I bowed to Mr Kim .

"good morning, miss y/n. I just want to know that did you went in restricted area last evening?" he asked.

"but sir-"

"yes or no, miss y/n" he asked sternly.

"ye-yes" I said and lowered my head.

"may I know the reasons behind you doing this?"

"my friend lost her soulmate ring which eventually went their"

"didn't your friend know that she was not supposed to go near that area?" he asked.

I lowered my head not having anything to say.

"if it has happened, you could have asked help from management but breaking the rules was a better option for you, right miss y/n?"

"s-sorry sir" I whispered.

"a sorry won't change anything. I'm sorry miss y/n but I'm compelled inorder to protect the laws" he continued " for the unlawful act you did, you have spend a day in EV penal institution"

he said and my eyes widened. I heard my principal gasped.

"you are having one hour miss y/n. inform your parents or other family members have food, water, whatever you need because you will not be getting any of this in these 24 hours" he stood up and looked at principal sir "I will take my leave now"

"I-I am sorry y/n. i-it is all because of me I'm s-sorry" jia said breaking into tears.

"no jia stop blaming yourself. I myself went there you never asked me to" I said.

my parents also came along with my brother. mom, dad, min jun all of them were having tears filled in their eyes because of me. I was feeling so remorseful.

I met my parents and the given time was over and left for my destination which was EV's jail.

EV penal institution the place where those EVs are kept who are having hard time in controlling themselves because of that drug used on them, on temprary basis until they get their sense back.

I got out of the car and a guard Vampire took me inside.

I entered inside the jail. despite of being a sunny day the insides of it were completely dark with zero sunlight. only growls and snarls can be heard of the Vampires that has been tied up by chains. red eyes and fangs which were ready to suck blood out of anyone, were in vision.

I was already petrified by their looks and the thought of staying in the same cell with one of them for 24 hours was making me tremble in fear.

after doing a small conversation with the other worker Vampires of the jail, the gaurd took me to one of the cells. I know it was almost impossible for me to survive, living with a  EV, that too lost it's sence, in the same cell. but I still pray for my survival.

the gaurd was unlocking the door while I was noticing the stares I was getting from those blood thirsty predators. there were metal doors on the cell but the glass window on them were enough to take a glance.

the door unlocked and I was about to enter but the guard remind me " you will not be getting anything to eat for the next 24 hours so try saving your energy" he said on which I nodded my head. I took a deep breathe to prepare myself and turned around to enter into the cell.

the cell had no materialistic thing. there was a bench with a mattress over it. large enough of a person to lie or probably sleep. and on left there was a jug with a glass, perhaps for water. other than it, there was nothing.

and on there front wall of the room there was standing a growling Vampires. my eyes widened when I looked at him. both hands and legs legs cuffed by heavy metal chain, long enough to let him move in the cell. anger filled, blood shot eyes. chest heaps up and down by the heavy breaths he was taking. sharp fangs peeking out covered with nothing but blood.

it took me few seconds to proceed his presence here, I didn't know wheather I should be grateful or not upon. I clutched on the hem of my wine coloured, full sleeve top before taking a step towards him.

his eyes were on me, filled with pain and anger. without blinking, he was continuously staring at me. I took a deep breathe before calling his name.
