"oh no" i went near him "a-are you okay?" I tried to hold his head

but he yelled "ARE YOU CRAZY? " he was about to say something else but the librarian hushed him.

"I'm s-sorry" I picked up the book and ran back to the class, without taking another glance at him.

the class went on and he arrived after the lecture ended but we didn't talk.

in the departure I saw jia and she asked "what happened? why so gloomy?"

"I'm not" I replied. on which she said, " sounds fake but it's okay" we laughed and she informed  "okay then see you tomorrow. I need to leave early today because my parents going out."

"okay, byee and take care" and we left.

after dinner I was doing my Homework but my phone ringed. I checked my phone it was jia "hey jia, everything's okay?" I asked.

"umm.. actually y/n, I need your help" she said.

"yes, tell me what happened?" I asked again

"I'm on my periods and I don't have sanitary pads" she nervously said.

"it's ok. I got it. just wait for sometime i will be there" I said and went downstairs for my parent's permission and I left for jia's house.

there were only few people on the way I was going but suddenly my eyes fell on a familiar figure.

Kim Taehyung what is he doing here at this hour?

I went near him and he was having a kitten in his hands with a bowl of milk near him. "what are you doing here this late?" I asked "don't you have eyes? feeding a start Kitty" he said caressing the little kitten .

then he looked at me and asked "but why are you doing at this hour? don't you know how harmful it is to roam around alone on the dark streets?" and I scoffed.

"I'm going at jia's place. she need pads" I pointed at the plastic bag I was carrying.

"why are you so sad today?" I suddenly asked.

"I'm not" he said monotonously.

"yeah I can see" 'sarcasm'

"why did you hide it?" he suddenly asked after the silence of few seconds.

"huh?" I didn't get.

"about your ring. why did you hide it?"

I shrugged and said " I just didn't want that extra attention from humans and vampires" and again he went silent.

"I think I should leave now. you also go home soon, yeah?" he nodded and I left

"thank you so much again y/n.  you are my savior " jia said for the nth time.

"it's ok jia. I need to leave now. bye"

"bye, go safely" she smiled and i left

on my way back home I noticed that the road way unusually empty. there was no one. neither any vampire nor human. that made me Shivered.

Weird

the bench where taehyung was sitting earlier was also empty with no stray cat nearby. i started talking my steps fast and reached my home. 

Next morning i went to school but I noticed everyone was unusually silent there was no hustle-bustle which made me feel kind of uneasy. some students were whispering something to each other by looking at me.

it is because of that ring?

I shrugged it off and went to my class.

but it was empty. slowly students started arriving. and then our home teacher came but where is kim Taehyung?

is he gonna bunk school ?

our home teacher arrived "dear students, some of you might have know it already" he was sounding dull," that one of your classmate have been taken away by the EVs. and has been converted into a EV himself. and we might never be able to see him again" "yeah, but who is he?" and one of the student asked

and the teacher replied

"kim Taehyung"
