A powerful wire was placed under my legs, making me stay in place. The machine held my muzzle tight as humans walked around me, touching in different parts of my body every so often.

"Her full effect is in place, ready?" A white-coated man said to a black screen that was hanging on the wall. The room was white and felt like a trapped box, just human items scattered on metal tables.

I prepared myself for the blast, I've done this many times in pain. The cable wires and the machine I am hooked up to had sent me a shock wave. Feeling the impulses of the bolts through me had sent me howling and crying in my head. I waited, but it didn't stop, then I at last crashed out.

I'd lived in the Facility for a year now. People do the most horrible experiments on us. Us, as in dogs, that's what I am? I don't quite remember my mother, let alone father, but when I first opened my yellow eyes, I was here.

When I finally woke in my cage, the dog next cage beside me was scoping meat from my bowl. I am in the corner of the building, only one dog next door.

He'd slipped his paw through the chain-length fence. I growled, still not fully awake, and gave a well aimed pounce at the small dog. Snatching its paw between my teeth, I gave it a firm shake before I let go. The dog cowered away.

I gobbled what ever pieces I had left.

Then, the buzzard went off and every cage door opened. Everyone began making their way outside a large door and into a dead yard.

Most dogs were quite older, bigger, and more aggressive than me. Turtle, an large male with hound-like ears and golden wavy fur, was the first to come greet me. He snorted and bit deep into my muzzle, his gang joining in their fun.

I was always bullied, abused, and treated differently with all these males. Never talked really either. My coat was fairly long, and with a shepherd color to it. It's strange to be the only girl in all these dogs, besides Haley, but she's mean to everyone besides her own group.

I huddled myself in the fenced corner, relieved when the dogs went away. Out of nowhere, a sound dragged my attention, the small dog who ate my meal was being foolishly killed. I wanted to help him, though I'm not his friend, but I'd end up the same way. The cannibalistic group of dogs began to rip away flesh, soon leaving just bones.

I turned my head, thinking to myself, there's nothing you could do about it.

I couldn't help but mutter, "Is there no end?"
