The Joker had just left the warehouse that he and his girlfriend, Harley Quinn, shared. He had told her about Batman letting him fall off the bridge and getting electrocuted, to which she had cried and coddled him. He let her take care of the little cuts and bruises he had accumulated through that night because he did love her and he didn't want her to worry.
Joker was now taking his nightly walk about Gotham. He had told Harley to stay at home like he usually did because he didn't want her getting tired and making him cut his walk short like she had many times before. And he always needed his full nightly walk. How else was he supposed to keep his lean figure?
As Joker kept walking, he found himself in Gotham Cemetery. As he got deeper into the cemetery, he saw a chubby figure coming up out of an underground crypt. Getting closer, he realized the chubby figure was actually The Penguin. Being the nosey person he was, Joker hid in the shadows until Penguin was completely out of the crypt before revealing himself from behind a large oak tree.
"Huh. Almost dark," Penguin stated, oblivious that The Joker was standing in the shadows. Joker jumped out from behind the tree and started coming slowly towards Penguin.
"Huh, what? You!" Penguin shouted, pointing at Joker.
"Everybody looks so shocked to see me these days. You and the fisherman who found me tangled in his net. And by the way, who knew electroshock therapy could be so invigorating? But that's all water under the bridge, 'cause Joker's back from the grave!"
Penguin looked down at the ground out of the corner of his eye and mumbled under his breath, "We've got a lot of that going around."
"Speaking of graves, Pengy, might you be hiding buried treasure?" Joker said, peeking around Penguin's shoulder.
"No! There's nothing in there!" Penguin shouted, grabbing Joker's jacket and throwing him as far as he could, which was not very far.
Joker, wanting to know what Penguin was hiding, smiled and ran after him. Penguin ran down the steps of the underground crypt and and threw the door at Joker. Joker caught the door and said, "I thought we were partners." Joker jumped down the stairs and continued to chase after Penguin. Outside, the sun went down and the night crept into the sky.
"Some hideout ya got here, Pengy!" Joker shouted sarcastically, as he ran on the other side of the cave right beside Penguin. "Dripping with atmosphere!"
"I'm warning you, Joker! There's nothing here for you!" Penguin hopped down the long tunnel, trying to lose Joker, but Joker hopped on down right behind him. Penguin shot at Joker with his umbrella gun, but Joker leaped out of the way. As Joker leaped, he grabbed his mechanic boxing glove out of his jacket and shot it at Penguin. The glove hit Penguin right square in the face and sent him flying the rest of the way down to the bottom of the tunnel. Penguin fell almost unconscious on the hard stone ground.
Joker walked up to him and smirked, but his smile fell as he noticed what was in the cave. There was a long, black casket mounted on a platform which had stairs leading to it. There were also many candles lighting up the dark cave. Joker stepped on Penguin and went over to examine the casket.
"Ooo! That is one fat looking box!" Joker lifted the lid of the casket halfway while Penguin screamed at him. "No, Joker!"
"That is one good looking corpse," Joker said suspiciously as he saw a man's corpse lying inside the casket. As he kept looking at it, the corpse's eyes sprang open and stared into Joker's eyes.
"Eek!" Joker leaped back in surprise, but the corpse's, which was actually Dracula, arm shot out, gabbed him by the coat, and ripped him into the casket. Joker held onto the edge of the casket, but Dracula was too strong and pulled Joker all the way into the casket.
