"Prom in less then a week. Don't forget to buy tickets and help the animal shelter" says the principle. I groan and roll my eyes, "the only reason I'm going is cause I love animals" I tell my friend Jess.
"Yeah but at least you should try to get a date" she says with her thick country accent playing with her blonde wavy hair. "Let's not" I say looking at my book, "oh come on let's see any guy your interested in?" she asks as she places a pen in her mouth.
I roll my eyes looking at my book "yeah nobody unless you count Romeo" I say jokingly. She nudges me "oh come on, Romeo from Romeo and Juliet?!" she says scuffing. I nod hiding my laugh, she plays with her blonde hair as two guys walk by "what about them" she whispers smiling and waving, I look up between my long brown hair "no" I say and look back down. She snatches the book from my hair "really Lila. Come on these guys are cute as fuck". I groan "let it be nobody's cute to me!" I say trying to get my book back "no no no not till you tell me who you like" she says waving the book in the air. "Ugh fine. Um him" I say pointing to some random guy. She looks at him "you mean the new boy?" she says smirking "fine choice my friend" she adds, I groan "can I have Romeo back please" she looks at me "you and your weird obsession" she hands the book back and gets up fixing her skirt.
"Where you going" I groan. She smiles "to talk to the new boy". I look up quickly "don't! No.." I say to late as she walks away. She puts her tray on the rack after dumping it, fixing her skirt she walks by the guy and smiles. She and him talk for a good five minutes but then she points at me and I quickly go back to my book hiding my face. I look up secretly as I see her walking over and him following behind. "Li this is Kloud" she says pointing to him. I quickly get up and walk away. "LI COME BACK!" she yells after me.
