Y/NS POV
NEXT DAY
I was able to sleep for about an hour before the nurses came in to switch out my fluids and to give me painkillers. They also had to check on Alexa. They said she is very healthy. Which was great news for me and Tom. When the doctors left Tom came and lied back down with me. Alexa is asleep in her little bed. We get to leave hopefully tomorrow if everything goes according to plan.
"How are you feeling darling?" Tom asks
"The pain is a bit better than yesterday" I reply while pulling the covers on me
"Well that's great love" he says while laying down
I start to slowly fall asleep before Alexa starts to cry.
"I got her" Tom says while standing up
As soon as he picks her up she stops crying.
He just brings her with him while he lays in the bed. My dad and uncle Sirius came yesterday too after Pavlina and Mattheo left. It was great seeing them. I can't wait to be able to go home and sleep in my own bed with Tom and most likely Alexa. Hopefully we can still leave tomorrow. Let's just pray everything goes to plan.
