Elias parked his car into the carpark to camp shallow lake and we looked at each other and smiled, excited to be here for the summer away from everything back in Lima, our parents arguing and our brother moving away from home, before getting out the car, Elias chucked my rucksack at me and dragged our suitcases into the cabins we were staying in, obviously mine being HoneyComb.
"Is that Pluto?" I whipped my head around from my bunk towards my best friend Maddox.
"Gadget!" I dropped my bag and ran to hug her tightly as we laughed.
"Girl I have missed you!" She smiled as we walked outside wrapped in each other's arms.
"I've missed you too Madds, Mercury is here as well!" I tell her about my brother being back this year.
"Is that Rocket man?" She pulled me in the direction of who she was searching for.
"Rocket man!" She hugged EJ and my heart stopped seeing him again, as he hugged her and introduced her to his girlfriend, cousins and friends.
"Hey Rocketman, long time no see!" I smile a little and shove my hands in my back pockets.
"Hey Pluto, long time." He wrapped his arm around his beautiful girlfriend and they all walked off after we all put our phones in the bucket.
"Ellie? You okay?" Elias walked over to us and hugged me, as we walked towards the HoneyComb cabin and he kissed both mine and Gadgets heads before going to the Yurt Locker cabin.
"Who was that fine piece of man?" A blonde haired girl asked us as we sat on our bunks.
"My brother Elias, but we call him Mercury, I'm Ellie but I get called Pluto." I explain.
"Well I'm Ashlyn, this is my twin sister Sophia, Katherine over there is the boy crazy one, the beauty over there is Gina who is EJs girlfriend and then Kourtney is the one freaking over her phone!" The ginger girl with blue streaks in her hair explained while pointing out all the girls.
"Wow so you guys are a tight knit group then? Also when Rocketman left camp last year his girlfriend was called Nini.." I looked around at them all, trying to spot the girl in question.
"He likes me now. He told me all about the girl at summer camp trying to get in between him and Nini called Saturn but I think that might be you Pluto. Don't try that stuff again." Gina smiled before walking off to find EJ.
I looked at Gadget uncomfortably and pulled out my tarot cards and Crystals.
"You do tarot readings?" Sophia sat on my bunk gently as the other girls apart from Katherine and gadget followed Gina.
"Yeah, I'm obsessed with it all." I smile at the girl.
"Her brother got her obsessed with it. He watches it on tiktok all the time!" Gadget explained for me knowing how anxious I get.
"Ignore Gina. She won't last long with Eej, especially if Ricky turns up." Katherine explained.
"Ricky?" I look at her.
"My brother that Gina likes." She explained to me as I unpacked my stuff and grabbed a blanket.
"Come on there's a guest speaker tonight!" Maddox pulled Sophia and I linked arms with Katherine and we walked to the stage and sat with my brother and EJ.
"Kat this is my brother Elias, share his blanket." I push the blonde girl into my brothers side and wink at her before sitting next to EJ.
"You told Gina I tried to ruin your relationship with Nini last summer?" I look at him hurt.
"That wasn't you Pluto, it was someone I refer to as Saturn, the you that had terrible mental health and heart ache." He smiled sadly.
"No it's because you leaded me on, kissed me and then got with Nini. I was hurt and angry because of you EJ." I moved closer to my brother and Katherine as Dewey announced Corbin Bleu onto the stage.
Everyone was cheering and that's when I took it upon myself to go back to my cabin or at least a walk in the woods.
Ellie, HoneyComb cabin
"Seeing EJ brought back something in me that I hadn't seen since last summer. But this time, I just gotta ignore him and those feelings."
EJ, The Yurt Locker
"Yes I kissed Pluto. But I liked Nini. And now I like Ell- Gina. I love Gina."
After a while and a helicopter burring, I overheard Dewey and Corbin telling EJ that he will be directing the show and I will be helping, as they saw me listening in.
"Dewey I can't direct frozen. I barely can stand on two feet anymore with out falling for some one!" I tell the man.
"We will be fine Pluto." EJ grabbed my hand and the adults walked off as I looked at him.
"We will be fine." I smile at the brown eyed boy.
The air became all stuffy and we moved in close as he leaned down to move the hair from my face and we almost kissed.
"Room for one more?" A curly brown haired boy ran over, seeing how close me and EJ were before apologising.
I backed up and ran to my cabin.
Ellie,
" I need to find that boy. And fast."
Ricky,
"Gina needs to know."
EJ,
"I should've kissed her, but Ricky ruined the moment."
