"Mr. Plenki, are you ready for your press conference?"
"Of course I am, cannot wait to raise tax to those bastards!", says Plenki, a thriving young prime minister of a wealthy country that resides in central Europe.
His bright view of the future (mainly for himself) and his enthusiastic speeches and ideas helped him climb his way up to the ranks with a little help of his long time "best friend" Zoki, a recently elected president.
"You know, after this is over i am gonna buy a villa on the beach. I really cannot wait for that little treat after i got this far!'
"Of course Mr. Plenki, you really deserve it. Anyway, don't forget I'm gonna make it possible for your wishes to come true anytime you wish as your manager. You can rely on me anytime!"
A tall, handsome young man with silver gray hair, and bright green eyes grinned proudly at his trusted companion of 3 years as he was tying his dark red tie upon his suit.
"Before we go out, president has called you to her office, she said it was urgent"
"Ah, Zoki, wonder what she needs me for this time", said Plenki while remembering memories of his best friend who was always there for him.
He quickly has started to walk towards the office where president resides, separated by a long hall made out of marble and decorated only with red carpet from the prime minister's office.
As he opens the dark brown door with golden handle, he is met with an unusual look. Miss president Zoki is looking rather troubled looking at something on her desk, before washing it off with a smile. Of course, Plenki was rather curious about why is the president troubled.
"What's the matter Zoki, what's troubling you?"
"Ah, I thought you wouldn't notice, but I guess there's no reason to hide it, since I called you here for it", says a beautiful, dark haired woman in a bright red dress and same colored lipstick.
"Come look at this, Plenki", says the woman as she's standing up from her chair and inviting young prime minister at her desk.
Plenki takes his time to get to the president's side, while his manager, a short, trusty woman with slick brown hair and a suit, stayed at the entrance of the long room.
He got a look at the desk and was rather puzzled. A yellowish, worn out paper, which likely seems to be old and antique had only a few words imprinted on it in a rather elegant handwriting which seemed familiar.
"You don't know how much I've waited for this moment"
That were the only words on the paper and Plenki realized it instantly. He looked back at Zoki and could only se a grinning smile on her face.
He understood what those words meant as he looked her into her brown eyes filled with something he never has seen before in her. A completion. He knew that all those years she had been tricking him. She was only probably interested in huge amounts of money he had all this time. As he was thinking about it a dark dagger was already piercing his back, deep enough to leave a fatal wound and kill him.
As he came to realize this, he could only cry a single tear that took the bright green colour of the future in his eyes and left a dark gray void, filling his eyes with nothingness.
He couldn't do anything in this situation, but he still had a chunk of happiness that his manager was still with him. Plenki slowly tried to turn his head towards her ah he could hear the steps that are coming to him, which he hoped that were for the purpose of helping him.
"Aren't you gonna die already, you greedy bastard?"
Those were the words left of his manager. He had lost all his hope that there might be a person that didn't betray him. He felt anger as the dagger was slowly leaving his body and his doom slowly approaching.
"Dammit all, if only i took todays press conference, raise the fucking tax to these bastards in my country and bought that shitty villa, then i could achieve something in life without those two!"
"Even though I'm a prime minister, they made me, a greedy, rich bastard, into a fool and used me! DAMMIT ALL!!"
That were his only thoughts as his betrayers were acting like nothing happened and having a small talk. He couldn't even recognized the words that they're saying and realizing that, he quickly accepted his doom.
His pathetic death by betrayal was the end of him. He didn't even consider that maybe he was so greedy that nobody liked him and just used his greed to play with him as a dog. Billions of dollars in his bank account were now without an owner, but he still regretted that every penny was made by his two betrayers. He could only lie on the ground and wait for death, that's how pathetic he was.
Suddenly a tired voice that sounds like as it has been working nonstop for many years, but enthusiastic as it maybe found something new that one could try.
"Damn, you're still young but dead. Sucks for you, greedy bastard!"
Plenki felt pathetic by being made fun of, what he thought was Death, or rather his personification of his greed that came for him.
"But I still owe you one even if you don't know. Well anyway, hope this works!"
Plenki was rather curious as to what "Death" meant by that, but still was stoic and completely accepting of his death and waiting for his eternal rest. He slowly closes his eyes as his consciousness is fading away. He only sees a figure with a suit and a wide smile as the void leaps over his eyes.
He knows that his life ended when it fades away. But he still feels as he had just closed his eyelids. He opens them and us welcomed by a rather strange sight for him.
A bright blue sky with clouds that are emitting soft orange sun rays as he is laying on an green, open plain with a forest in the corner.
As he was seeing this he was confused, as he thought that for sure he needed to go to Hell and that was for certainly not Hell. So the only thought that remained in his brain was:
"Damn, can't I even get my eternal rest?'
