Hell is Almost Over!

Fucking finally! Last year of high school! Well it's the first week still it's the last year. After this year Logan is going to college in England. Being home all summer with his dad and brothers was a nightmare for Zenix. Logan had a pretty chill summer. He mostly drove his sister to and from her friends houses. While Zenix was putting away a few books in his locker so his bag wasn't heavy. "Hi baby." Logan said with a smirk. "I told you calling me that was not funny. Just because you find it funny to pretend to be my boyfriend doesn't mean you should." Closing his locker Zenix looked at him.

"To me it's hilarious and I don't know why you hate it. Do you just hate the nicknames I've picked?" "No just it's making me uncomfortable I guess." Zenix said. They walked to their first class. School went by slow like always. But eventually it was over. But unfortunately Zenix had to go home. Walking in the house quietly trying to get to his room. "Look who's home!" That stupid voice of Zenix's older brother. He was 24 years old living in his dad's house. His name is Lucas he's been Zenix's second worst bully. "Where's dad?" "He's out with some girl he met wouldn't doubt it gets physical in a hour." The youngest brother is Parker. He's only a few years younger than Zenix. But he was the nicest in the family. Taking after their mother with her kindness and black hair.

Sure enough within the hour their father was coming back. Some girl on his arm bringing her to his bedroom. Trying to get his homework done fast enough before 'inspection'. In this house if your homework wasn't done in a hour you were either yelled at or beaten. Zenix tried to stay at Noah or Logan's house when ever he could. But tonight he forgot to ask. Only Noah knows about his home life. He rather Logan not know because he's afraid. Afraid of Logan being angry at him.

Logan's parents were divorced since his dad found out he was gay. However his parents were still close friends. Logan visited his mom every summer and sometimes randomly went to say hi. He could drive himself and she lived close to the school. He's got a younger sister who spends a week at one parents then the other. He dyed the fronts of his hair purple. He had long hair and a lot of it. So when freshman year came. They gave him a undercut. It made things easier. They used He/they pronouns but he honestly didn't care. If you wanted to use neopronouns for him you could. Everything but she/her was fine.

The thing is Logan really likes Zenix. He keeps trying to figure out Zenix's sexuality but can't! It's frustrating to love someone who doesn't love you back! Well xe doesn't know if Zenix doesn't like xem. Flopping down on xeir bed the gay flag hung on the ceiling. "He's Oh so handsome but he's not gay. He doesn't even Ike guys. Why else would it make him uncomfortable?" Talking to themself now. Truly going insane alone with his head. "I want to kiss his stupid face and hold his hand. Let him wear my hoodies. Even though all he wears is flannel or black hoodies."

About a hour later Logan gets a text from Zenix asking if he can go stay at his house for the night. When he finally got to Logan's house it was kinda late. But he banged on the front door. Logan's dads were out of town for work. Logan opened the door to catch Zenix in his arms. "What happened?! Why are you exhausted!?" "My d-dad he hit me in my eye. He busted my lip!. My jaw hurts!" Zenix was crying. This is the first time anyone other than Noah has seen him cry. "Go to my bathroom. I'll be there in a second to help. Wash your face up." Zenix went to the bathroom while Logan got ice.

Cleaning the bruised eye, bloody lip, and putting ice on Zenix's jaw. "Thanks I just I had no where else to go." "You're always welcome here Ze. I'm always gonna be here for you." Both their faces go red. Logan backs up and clears his throat. "Zenix you can sleep in my room I'll stay in my sister's room." "I can sleep on the couch I don't mind it." He was just glared at. The way logan looked at him. He knew he was sleeping in the room. So walking to the room to put down his back pack. They brought their school stuff and clothes. Laying down on the bed seeing the flag on the ceiling. Logan was very out about who xe likes. But xe never said what his sexuality was to Zenix.

"I didn't realize he was fully gay." He looks around the room. While they had been friends for a long time. It was like Zenix didn't know who Logan was. This room isn't what he would expect. The room was very artistic with paint spills on the desk. Paintings on the walls and murals on the ceiling. As he was looking at the paintings logan walked into the room. "Zen I need you to tell me what's going on okay?" "Well my dad was angry he found out I didn't want to go to college." Logan looked pissed. "What the hell!? So he beat his own kid!?" Logan shouted. They hugged each other tight. "I think we should call the police." Zenix wasn't sure yet. While he was fine so was his brother Lucas. Parker would have to be put into foster care. Lucas would refuse to be his guardian. "I'm not going to if you don't want me to."

"Thank you. My brother needs a home and I can't afford it." Zenix said. "I understand just I want you to...be safe." Yet again they're really close to each other. Zenix's face got redder. The freckles on his face made him look like a pineberry. "Hey you haven't backed up yet. Does that mean you like being this close?" Logan asked. He just stood there for a second. Before he hugged Logan tight. This was the first time they'd ever hugged. Logan had tried to hug Zenix he really has. But Zenix never hugged him back. So immediately he hugged him back. "Logan do you know how hard it is. Trying to get through high School when your family is shitty...my mom isn't here and my dad only goes on shitty dates that end with hook ups." Never in a million years would Logan look at Zenix and think his family life was bad. But sometimes he forgets some people's home lives are bad. Yes his parents split up but everyone was happy. He still sees his mom and dads. Their mom sees both her kids for holidays and some weekends. "Zen...I have...I don't know what to say. Do you need somewhere to stay? You can stay here or I'm sure we can get you a hotel." Logan spoke fast and somewhat panicked. He's never dealt with things like this. "No it's fine...I just need time away from them. If Parker needs anything I'll have him text me." Zenix said.

"It's really late Zen you should-" Logan was cut off. "Zen? When did Zen start?" This time logan got red. "You should go to bed.....Zen" Logan smiles and chuckles. After small punch into Logan's shoulder. Zenix sat down on the bed. "Good night dork" "Be nice to me you're in my house. Good night Z." Logan shut the door as he left. Zenix grabbed his backpack to put on his hoodie. Yes he sleeps in a hoodie and his boxers. He gets hot on his lower half but super cold on his top half.

Logan walked to his sister's room. It was a bunch of colors mixed together but her walls were a periwinkle color. Her bed sheets were a light blue. Her curtains were a light pink. The furniture was a mix of white, greys, and off-whites. With splashes of paint on them. Logan just removed the bed sheets so he wouldn't mess them up. Going to her closet getting extra bed sheets. Putting the bed sheets on the bed laying down covering up with the thin sheet.
