the seats were white, with a crystal strawberry on the top, while the pristine white table was adorned with a red tablecloth. little gold cupcake holders were filled with red velvet cupcakes, with a strawberry on top after the white frosting, which had red sprinkles. everyone had fine cutlery; strawberry themed spoons, forks, and knifes. included white and gold plates and cups. even the butterflies fluttering around were red.

"so! everyone ready?"

Mika started to hand out everyone some butterfly shaped cookies, with some peppermint tea. i know ____ likes peppermint tea, so maybe I should ask Mika for a bag before I go.

i ate the butterfly cookie, and a piece fell off, so I went to pick it up to set it aside to be respectful, however when I looked, the piece of the cookie was sitting ontop of a... smiling mask...?

picking up the cookie, there was a note on the  mask.

i unfolded it, to find a message like this;

"thinking about someone deceased will only make you feel worse about it."

....huh?

i stuffed the note somewhere, and disregarded it.

leno? did you find something on the ground?
oh, it was just some weird paper.
oh, alright.

when I tried to drink my tea, I heard something shatter, when I looked around, shards of glass fell from the sky....?

how did a piece of glass fall from the sky...?

then, an old picture frame of someone fell to the table.

i picked up the frame, but it was just an old photo of my friend, from 5th grade or something.

the more i stared at it, the more difficult it was able to hold the photo.

what is going on?

"leno? what's wrong? why is your hand trembling?"

i can't hold the photo anymore.

it fell from my hand, and before it shattered, a million memories came to my head.

"______, is leno alright?"

"no, it's because she realized something."

"what is it?"

"only thinking about someone deceased will make it feel worse."

suddenly, i felt horrible.

"leno, do you realize?"

"you don't remember what happened a while ago?"
"you didn't remember she's already gone?"

"you didn't remember she passed away a long time ago?"

the second ______ said that, I remembered everything.

...

"you know, leno, she was very creative. she used the last of her creativity to imagine this world with you. she didn't want you to feel bad. so, she used everything she remembered of you, to this world. she remembered you liked the color red, she remembered you liked tea parties. she would even go back to conversations from the past to feel better."

"..."
"so in reality, she died thinking of you."

"how did she die, again?"

...

"she wasen't able to take it anymore. she had enough of her world."

"so, that way, I'm assuming."

wait, ______, before you go, i have one last question.

"hm?"

why did that photo feel so heavy...?

....

"______?"

"She hated all the photos. that was why. it made her feel like a person she wasn't. every time she looked or passed by them; they made her feel worse. in this world, emotions can affect objects. the photo was heavy because it was heavy or angry emotions every time, she saw the photo."

"..."

"leno, you need to go, this world is unstable."

"but, how do I leave?"

the world started to shake, and all the fancy tea party cultery and furniture started to float in the air, with some of the strawberry knives cutting some of the trees. And the fork....I don't think I wan't to talk about what happened to Mika.
"You have to take Mika's necklace, then wear it."

"But isn't Mika..."

"GRAB IT!"

I grabbed the necklace from Mika, and wore it. I felt lighter than ever.

"Do you think we will see each other again?"

"I don't think so."

"oh..."

I passed out, then I woke up in my room. I was wearing the necklace, and next to me was the gun that ______ decorated for that tea party, and the shattered photo.

I never felt so dead inside.
