with you? always

3rd Person POV

they didn't end up on the list, what they did up with were multiple news articles about them and a rating drop. iris held pins hand as they all stared at the multiple pieces of paper.

"the mayor can't just come to our island and threaten one of our wild horses," zoe said and iris sighed

"sadly z, she has that power now" iris exclaimed and pin shook his head

"Not if we can help it" he stated and they all nodded in agreement.

"but this is all my fault, I'm the one who suggested an open day, brought the mayor to bright fields, and made her mad" zoe said and iris heard gaby sigh and try to comfort her girlfriend.

"We have to find her first. iris are you coming?" pin asked iris looked at pin and nodded

"with you? always" she said and she brought Priscilla out of her stall as she tacked her up and pin tacked up Elvis.

"wait we'll come with you" gaby volunteered herself and zoe. jade volunteered too as they all nodded. they all separated. iris and pin waited for the others as she watched gaby ride out on raven, jade on major, and zoe on monty. Iris smiled at them and they all left the stables together. iris and pin rode next to each other as they rode throughout the island together trying to find the horses. Iris smiled as she ran her hand over Priscilla's mane and she felt happy. with her and pin next to each other and Elvis next to Priscilla, it felt natural and normal.

"everything okay , gaby?" zoe asked her girlfriend when raven let out a loud neigh and iris looked at pins whose shoulders shrugged. iris almost felt bad for jade who stayed behind them. she was third wheeling with two couples and iris didn't want to know how that felt. back in l.a she third-wheeled with reggie and flynn more then she wanted to to a point that she had to make up lies to not third wheel with the couple. iris knew that jade was with them due to her project but she couldn't help but feel bad for the girl who looked uneasy and uncomfortable.

"yeah I forgot how strong he was. what did you feed him this morning?" gaby asked and iris smiled as she zoned out of their conversation and then she heard pin.

"if we head up this way, there's a shortcut"pin called

"does it lead to the west moor?" gaby asked

"we're not going to west moor, we're going to the castle"pin spoke and iris sighed as she noticed that they were split numbers

"hey look we have our phones and can call each other if needed. I'm sure one group of us can head to the castle and the other can head to west moor. me ,pin and jade can head to the castle and you two can head to the west moor. I'm sure we'll find them" iris suggested and they all looked at each other before they nodded

"we'll call you if we see anything" zoe said and then they heard a car door. they turned and saw a man. iris looked at them and nodded.

"lets get out of here" she said and pulled priscillas reins as they separated from zoe and gaby. iris, jade and pin went to the castle. when they got there, they looked at the ground and there was hoofprints but they weren't there and iris's phone rang.

"hey get here fast, they're here and we don't know how long we have until the mayor finds out" zoe said and iris turned to jade and pin.

"they're on the west moor, lets go" she said and she pulled priscillas reins as she rode off before pin and jade. they all stayed together and they rode to the moors and iris saw zoe and gaby looking at the horses and then they turned as they saw them coming.

"lets do this and quickly" gaby said and iris nodded. she turned to jade and pin as she looked and pointed out the horse that stood out in the crowd in front of them.

"there she is" zoe said and they all smiled as they looked at raven

"now, we just have to catch her" zoe said. pin got off of elvis as iris got off of Priscilla.

"everyone , go slow. if one horse panics, the whole herd could scatter" he said and he walked forward with iris as he got close to them and he managed to put a lead rode on the horse.

"you did it" zoe said and then they heard the revving of an engine and iris ran over to Priscilla.

"you guys they found us" zoe said and the horses began to scatter as the lead rope broke and iris looked at pin and then zoe

"Z, LETS GO" She yelled and they rode after the horses together. iris and zoe stayed together as raven jumped over the front of the mans car and Priscilla did too.

"tell your boss, pony squad says hi" zoe said and they watched him smack the steering wheel before they rode off and after her again. iris pushed Priscilla faster as she went faster and raven did too. iris made sure that she stayed with zoe as they tried to keep up with her but over time, they couldn't keep up and they lost her. iris sighed as they got back to the stables and iris put Priscilla in her stall again.

"guess today just wasn't the day" she said to her and she leaned her head against hers as she let her hand run over her mane and she smiled. she didn't realize that pin was staring at them. pin missed the sight of them together and he knew that maybe he shouldn't but he did.

iris then heard neighing and she lifted her head up from priscillas as she turned and made eye contact with gaby. they ran to a stable and there was now gaby with her. iris' eyes widened and Aaron spoke

"her name is ariel" he said and she smiled.

"gaby found her house" jade said

"she found me" gaby said and iris was happy for gaby. she knew what it was like to find that connection and even though she felt this feeling over and over again she was happy for her.

iris was actually happy for once but who knew if that would change any time soon? she could always get scared.
