Mental Hospital Story Time

Haha so I was sent to the loony bin, anyways heres the story.

My Dad and I were fighting at dinner and he said something lowkey rude about my ADHD (which I am kinda insecure about) and I super upset and hid in the bathroom. I cried for like 15 minutes and just wanting to kill myself so bad.

Then I realized that there was shit in the cabinet of the bathroom so I looked through there and found borax. I kind of stared at it for a while before pouring a little bit into my hand and licking it. It was sweet and nasty at the same time. I then ate a little bit more of it cause I knew that it could make me die lmao.

At that point I realized it kinda tasted really bad so I washed my mouth out. Shortly after my stomach started hurting really bad and I was like, "oh no." But I went into my Mom's office where she was doing her work.

I sat down in one of the chairs there and said 'I'm sorry." And she got really confused and asked what for. I then told her I tried to kill myself. She got really angry and started screaming at me, I don't remember what she said exactly but she called my Dad into the office and told him what happened. While she was screaming at him, he started smirking and then she was like, 'STOP FUCKING SMIRKING." And then she yelled at me to get my shoes on and to get in the car.

I got my shoes on and went in the car and she got in as well and started screaming at me. She was then like, "NOW I HAVE TO BRING YOU TO THE FUCKING HOSPITAL." And that is when I realized that I may have fucked up. I was then begging her to not bring me back to the loony bin (I was sent there once by my school but I never actually got admitted in) But she took me to the ER.

She told the lady at the desk why I was here and almost immediately I was called into the room to like interview what happened. The nurse lady asked if I ate it on purpose (to which I responded with yes) and then she was like "... okay..." And then started talking about the mental hospital and I was like "ok."

But then I had to go and change into one of those nasty ass hospital gowns and I had to take my earrings out (THAT JUST GOT PEIRCED BY THE WAY) and my favorite necklace I got from Mexico.

But after that I was brung to a hospital room and had dinner of some sort there. They then had to take blood from me and get vitals to check to see if the Borax I ate would give me kidney failure. My mom and I were kind of sitting in the room in silence and we then kind of started talking about some deep stuff. There was a TV in the room so we could watch TV so we did that for a while.

I had to use the bathroom and so I was taken there and the lady had to GO IN WITH ME to make sure I didn't find some way to kill myself. I kind of just sat on the toilet awkwardly pissing while the lady was in there.

I was taken back to the room and I fell asleep pretty late but I don't remember too much from the first day.

On the second day, me and my Mom woke up and turned on Pioneer Woman because I wanted my mom to not be stressed out. We weren't allowed phones in the hospital room so we had to make due with the TV.

My Mom then told me that Dad was going to be coming over and that she had to leave for a bit to take care of things at the house. I honestly was feeling a bit nervous cause of the fight with Dad.

About 30 minutes later, he entered the room and my Mom left. I was watching a movie and he said "turn that junk off" and that honestly didn't help the situation. He brought my sketch pad (which for some reason I wasn't allowed to have) and a book with him for me to read.

He then ordered me around a lot with turning off the TV and I kind of just snapped after that. I yelled at him and basically vented out my whole life. How I've been feeling suicidal since I was about 3-4 years old, how last year I was getting sexually harassed at school, how I'm kind of scared of men, and the harsh environment I've had to go through at school.
