Occurrence of the Reasons

Work day again

I thought I didn't have to work today but it results my aunt forgot to pay my university deposit so now I am currently working right now on my supposed to be off day because I don't feel like calling my aunt to ask her for money so I can pay the deposit to the university its not like she has helped us before. I am cleaning a table when one of my colleagues calls me through the headset to go seat a couple of people. All I see is one girl coming through the door and it turns out to be Maria I'm just thinking "What the fuck is she doing here?" while I'm showing the couple of people where they going to sit it to eat their food I go up front again because I got to check which table needs to be clean because I saw five people leave the restaurant so I went to go clean up five tables when I hear someone behind me "Hey cutie how are you? Its a shame you had to work instead of hanging out with me." I said "Hey Maria, I can't really talk right now I'm busy right now, if I get out of work early I will go to your car and see if you're down to hangout at my house or if its too late I will go straight home now please tell the greeter if you're going to sit down and eat here or you're just going to wait for me in the car." I see her leaving and I get back to working. I feel my phone vibrating in my pocket I just ignore it and keep working then it vibrates again so I drop off everything I had in my hands and went all the way to the back and check my phone it's Martha yes my sister...she texts me "Hey I need to pay some books." the next message is asking if I have money "Do you have some money so I can buy and pay for them, they're for school." I text back "Martha, I am working right now we'll talk about this later once I get home." I check the tables that have sitting down and checking which have finished their food, waiting for their check and those who just got their food to give the greeter the estimated wait time so they can give to the people that are entering the restaurant meanwhile I get called by the manager I go up to her and she says "Izzy, I need you to go get some plates and bring them upfront I seen that they're getting low we need to have them and check if the silverware is up to date." I go to the kitchen and check on the silverware and its up to date then went to grab a good amount of stacks of plates and bring them up to the front, I start saying while walking towards the front of the restaurant "Excuse me! Have my hands full watch your step please!" well, at least people understand. Its already 11 pm and my shift is almost over hopefully because I got school tomorrow and I got to see if Martha is awake still so I can discuss with her over the money issue part where I don't have enough money for the amount of books she either wants or needs to buy I got to check tomorrow at school to see what they're going to tell me. The manager comes up to me and says "Izzy you can finally go home do whatever the person that's closing tonight and then you can go home." I say to her "Alright, mam thank you." I start to do the side work that needs to be done and then clocked out.
