HALEY POV
"Haley hurry the fuck up!" I hear Ben shout from the front of the bus. I sigh as I struggle to reach the zip at the back of my dress. "Just a second!" I call back, still unable to zip it up. I hear footsteps come towards the bathroom door. "Fucks sake." I whisper as I begin to get extremely frustrated. There's a soft knock at the door. "Need some help in there?" It's James. I stay silent for a moment, unsure of how to respond. Quickly I open the door and let him in. "I can't zip it up. Please help." I say, clearly annoyed that I can't do this simple task alone. He laughs for a minute as I turn around so he can reach the zipper. I jump slightly as his cold hands touch my bare skin. "Sorry." He whispers as he pulls the zip up with ease. I turn to face him, not realising just how close we actually are. "Oh, thanks." I smile. We stand there. Silent. Neither one of us knowing how to break it. I feel myself reaching up towards him. My lips begging for the touch of his to be present. He begins to lean towards me. His beautiful brown eyes getting closer. Closer. KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK. We pull away instantly. "Hurry the fuck up you two. It's our day off and you'd rather spend it in the bathroom. Let's go." Ben shouts from the other side. Awkwardly I reach over and open the door. Ben can see he's interrupted something but just clears his throat and directs us out of the bus. "Where are we?" Jade asks Sam. Sam laughs before pointing to the club across the road. "No idea what this street is called but that's where we're going." He jumps up and down like a child on Christmas before hurrying us all inside.
Everywhere I look, there is some sort of half naked girl. I stand next to Jade awkwardly while looking for the bar. I hear Jade sigh. Knowing exactly what kind of night this was going to be. James must see the look on our faces, because he walks over to tell me it's not as bad as it looks. I laugh before following the rest of them to the bar.
I reach for my purse to pay for my drink but am stopped when James reaches over and pays for me. "I wasn't being that slow." I laugh and nudge him playfully. He looks down at the floor awkwardly and then back up at me. "I know. Sorry." He giggles slightly before walking over to Ben and asking him something. I turn to talk to Jade but she's already off dancing with Cam. I call for another drink and down it quickly. "Here we go." I sigh to myself.
After about 15 minutes of sitting alone, Ben saunters over. "So I think you should go on the dance floor, go towards James and ask him why he couldn't have told you to go over there himself." Ben laughs. I look at him confused before standing up and doing as I'm told.
"James!" I shout as I tap him on the shoulder. I can hardly hear myself over the music. He turns quickly, clearly pissed out of his mind already. "Heyyy beautiful!" He smiles before nearly falling over his own feet. I laugh before steadying him up again. "Ben told me you wanted to talk?" I tell over the music. He stops laughing and nods. "Um I just needed to tell you that I think your amazing." He says as he leans towards my ear. Making sure I can hear him loud and clear. I nod for a moment. Processing his words. "I'd like to say the same back to you." I reach up and place my hand on his shoulder. He nods and takes another sip of beer. "I really like you. As in really like you." He smiles. I gaze up into his eyes and realise that he means it. It's not just the alcohol anymore. This is James. My James. "I really really really like you too." I say as I lean in towards his lips. My stomach begins to tingle and my legs begin to shake. He's perfect. What's he doing with someone like me. I don't want to break apart. We don't break apart. Not until I hear Jade and Cam shuffle to our side. I look across at Jade triumphantly. She nods her head proudly before looking up at Cam who seems to have the same idea. "We're gonna get out of here guys. See you back at the bus yeah?" She calls before hugging me and waving bye to the rest of the boys who are still at the bar. I smile in response before drawing my attention back to James. "Let's go find Ben and Sam, okay?" I ask. I don't wait for a response before I am pulling him through the crowd towards the bar.
After about 5 shots and 3 beers, we're all hammered. I laugh as we all lean up against each other trying to find the bus. It's across the road. A very busy road. Not the type of road that 4 very drunk people should try to tackle. Suddenly, cameras begin to flash and questions begin to get asked. I sigh, realising that the only way out of this is to call our security (who will be pissed off enough knowing where we are at this time). I sigh before pulling out my phone and dialling the number. Within seconds they declare they are on their way. All we have to do is try not to look like complete drunken wankers in front of these people. Just don't be yourself.
By the time security arrive, Ben has already been asked by at least 100 times who Alexandria is and what we are asking her. Security grabs us and heads towards the bus, calling us a different insult with every step.
The bus door swings open to reveal Jade and Cam clearly forgetting we have bunks. I laugh before turning away quickly. Ben let's out a groan before shooing them away. "Dirty fuckers!" He shouts after them, laughing.
He heads back to the bunks, followed by Sam. It's just me and James now. He looks over to me and our faces begin to get closer. Suddenly we forget where we are. What are names are, everything. None of it matters when we are with each other. It all just disappears.
James breaks apart for a moment. "You mean the world to me." He whispers before are lips meet again. I smile. My James.
