Pairing: Trilla x FemReader
Trilla and reader meet for the first time after Trilla joined the dark side a few years before. Angst and no comfort, sorry.

"Y/N?"

You froze in your tracks, remembering that voice after thinking you'd never hear it again. You slowly turned around, BD-1 wrapped in your arms protectively, you met the gaze of the only woman you ever loved before she disappeared for the last few years.

"Trilla?" You asked hesitantly, your breaths becoming rapid.

Trilla twitched the corner of her lips up in a light smile and nodded.

"Where have you been?" You breathed out.

She looked down shamefully "I'm sorry Y/N-"

"NO TRILLA WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN" You scream at her cutting her off "YOU DISAPPEARED WITHOUT A TRACE, NO NOTE, MESSAGE, NOTHING" You calmed down and took a breath "Do you know how much that hurt me?"

She was silent, understanding what she'd done "Please Y/N, I'm so sorry, but I was so hurt and enraged I couldn't think straight, all I wanted was revenge I couldn't take it" her eyes met yours "I shouldn't have left you" She finished.

Your hold on BD-1 tightened slightly with her words "I thought you died and no one told me" You admitted with tears welling in your eyes.

Her face change to one of shock "Oh Y/N, I'm sorry, I really am"

She moved towards you but you retreated backwards, she stopped and her eyes trailed to the ground in shame again.

"Please Y/N- please forgive me" her own eyes were filling with tears now and she knew what she'd done to you.

Your tears began to fall and you leaned your head on BD-1, the droid made a quiet sound in response and put one of its limbs on your arm around it in comfort.

"Go find Cal BD" you said between sniffs and placed the droid down for it to go find it's friend.

You looked back up at Trilla who locked your gaze with wet streaks down her face too. You took a breath and gained composure to say this.

"I loved you Trilla, I still do" you paused "But- I don't think I can love who you've become" You whisper with more tears coming down.

She looked hurt and her face replicated one of regret.

"Y/N don't say that"
"What else am I meant to say? We couldn't be together again anyway, you've chosen you side I've chosen mine, we're opposites Trill, enemies"

"NO, please don't say that!" She dropped her sheathed saber and covered her ears with more tears running down on her face.

"I'm sorry Trill but it's the truth-"
"No! It doesn't have to be, please, join me and we can be together Y/N" She offered desperately.

"I can't, I won't" You said stern.
There was a silence.

"So-so this is it then, goodbye?" She asked you quietly.

You thought for a moment "Yeah, I guess it is, unless you want to come back, join me instead, reunite with Cal and the light side?" You offered her hopefully.

She chuckled, "They wouldn't want me back, not after everything I've done to them" She answered, your hopes instantly disintegrating.

"Then yes, this is goodbye" You then confirmed sadly.

She nodded and crouched to pick up her saber, when she stood back up you wrapped your arms around her waist and trapped her in a hug, sobbing into her chest. She embraced you back and rested her head in the nook of your neck. You two stayed like that for a few minutes but it felt like an eternity, until you two let go of each other looking into each other's eyes and you slightly smiled up at her before backing away.

"Goodbye Trilla"

And with that you turned around and receded towards the door and exited the room you two were in not looking back, leaving her alone to her thoughts.
