Just thought I'd mention the song above will be featured in this chapter as it plays a big part in y/n's life it will explain later in this chapter plus the song just plays at the party. Also I know there are no parties in season five but I had ideas to blossom Anthony's romance with y/n so this was on of them.
It was third period. I was sitting next to Anthony like I always do, that's never gonna change.
"Hey my sister is throwing a party at her house on Saturday, I was wondering if you wanted to come." Anthony asks. I smiled.
"Anthony you don't even need to ask, ofc I will be there!!"
"Great do you want me to pick you up or can you get there yourself?" I blushed.
"I don't mind."
The night of the party.... I was so excited. The last party I had been to was before my dad died so this would be fun. I decided to pick out a really nice outfit.

You and Anthony decided, that Yasmine would pick you up on her way to the party. When you got there, you were greeted by Anthony, you couldn't help but notice he was smiling at you. You blushed. I hoped he hadn't noticed, might have been a little embarrassing if he did, you know because I wouldn't know what to say in response at all.
We went inside, when we walked in Boom Clap by XCX Charli happened to be playing which atm was one of my favourite songs (you can change the song if u want, this is actually just one of my favourite songs atm soo) So ofc we had to go dance to that. After the song ended, Anthony went to go get us both some punch.
While Anthony was gone, you noticed that your ex Harvey was here, that's weird as far as I knew Harvey didn't know anyone here other than me. He came up to me.
"Hey y/n!" he said.
"Hi Harvey, what are you doing here, I didn't think you knew anyone?" I say.
"Well you know Yasmine is my cousin and so she invited me." he says.
"Oh yea right." I say.
"So why are you here? I thought you didn't go to parties anymore." He says. I laughed.
"That's not true!! My best friend Anthony invited me." I say.
"Man you really have made a new life for yourself since Jeff died haven't you?"
"If you came here just to criticise about how I have moved on from my dad's death then I'm not interested, I mourn him every day."
Quick storytime: you and Harvey dated for a year and half and broke up just before your dad died because Harvey was moving in with Yasmine, after his sister went to college and both his parents were assholes and he decided he wanted to move in with his cousin. Anyway you and Harvey broke up because Harvey wasn't cool with long distance even though where you used to live in (Canada is my choice) and Los Angeles were only like 3-4 hours apart. Then surprise surprise you moved to Los Angeles to start a new life not long after.
Harvey left and Anthony came back with two glasses of punch.
"Who was that you were talking to?" Anthony said, not gonna lie he looked a little jealous.
"Oh, that was my ex Harvey Wicks, he is actually Yasmine's cousin, he moved in with her when we broke up 3 months ago and she is the reason he is at this party." I say.
"Oh okay." Anthony said still looking jealous.
Five minutes later.... Hey Mickey came on. This song was a big part of me because it was my dad's favourite song. I remember whenever the song came on anywhere or Dad and I listened to it we would dance to it, we had even made our own special dance for it, I had learned to cope with the fact that he was gone whenever the song came on and it became one of my favourite songs as it has a good vibe and good memories that come with it.
"This was my dad's favourite song, come on Anthony do the dance with me." He smiled, I taught him the song and then we danced to it. Listening to this song once again made me feel really good, it made me feel close to my father even though he was gone, it made feel connected to what I remembered about him.
The night went on, eventually Yasmine drove me home. Mum was already asleep, she had left some pizza out for me to eat for dinner as it was around 10:30pm which was my curfew.

Sorry bout the long wait in updating, I had huge writers block for a while and only just got ideas recently, plus I was sick for a week so I didn't update then either as I was also camping while I was sick (I had to go as no one could look after me if I stayed home!!)
