Never in his life did Jackson expect to have a perfect omega and a pup on the way. It was scary times but he knew pups were rare these days especially since he and his partner were always in the path of danger, he just hoped his pup would survive. A cup appeared in his view pulling him from his brooding thoughts. Once his eyes refocused, Jackson noticed a passive Aiden standing in front of him with his arms crossed. The alpha twin looked like he needed to say something.

“Can I help you?” Jackson whispered, aware of the sleeping Ethan on one of the sofas in the living space of Derek’s apartment. He was being extra quiet since the other sofa consisted of the puppy pack and a sleeping Cameron who rested in Theo’s arms. Aiden shifted slightly, his eyes flickering over to where his twin remained asleep before he turned his full attention on Jackson who remained standing with protective posture.

“Who are you to my brother?” Aiden asked bluntly.

Jackson raised an eyebrow, “His mate”. Jackson watched as the other alpha’s eyes slanted slightly with an essence of pain. “He is my lover, my soulmate, my mate. He is my omega as I am his alpha, I will protect him to the best of my ability” Jackson rambled unaware of a certain omega watching them. Aiden frowned, stepping forward almost in Jackson's personal space, the kanima didn’t like it but had to remind himself this was his omega’s twin. Aiden placed a gentle hand on Jackson's shoulder, the kanima looked confused but slowly it disappeared, “Jackson, I ask this only once. Can I….will you look after my brother and love him the way I cannot?” Aiden asked, his shoulders sunk inwardly as he failed to ask what he needed to. “I will but I will need some help, so I ask. Aiden, will you join the pack and help me protect your brother and love him the way I cannot?” Jackson cheekily remarked, a burst of emotion flowed through both alpha’s. Aiden nodded, thrilled he had something to stick with. Jackson smirked looking around and noticed no one was near so he reached forward and pulled Aiden into a hug. The alpha was quite surprised but accepted the hug.

Footsteps to their left alerted the two who jumped apart. A small laugh left the individual who had interrupted them. “Who knew a noise of some sort would make two big bad alpha’s turn beetroot red?” Ethan jokes, grabbing himself a glass to fill up with water. Jackson  smirked at Aiden who reached over and swatted at his brother. The omega chuckled while drinking his water but frowned when a dizzy spell made him almost drop the water and his head spin. Aiden moved on instinct, steadying his brother but almost clashing with Jackson who took the glass of his omega and placed it on the counter.

“Ethan?” Jackson hovered in front of the said twin who had a permanent frown etched into his angelic features. The omega shivered slightly leaning further into his twin who held him upright until his vision corrected itself. “I’m okay” Ethan reassured the two, he remained in Aiden’s hold while Jackson grabbed his omega and a bottle of water to refrain from future incidents with the glass. Ethan nodded in thanks as he took a sip of water. Another dizzy spell hit him. “Ethan?” Aiden gently lowered his brother to the floor with Jackson covering the other side. The omega whimpered when the room spun rapidly, he squeezed his eyes shut and buried his face in Jackson’s neck. The kanima shared a worried look with Aiden who nodded and jogged off in the direction of Melissa and Argent, the two having bunked in another room. Jackson pulled his omega closer who seemed to tighten their grip.

Not even a minute later, Aiden appeared with Melissa, Argent and a concerned Peter. “What’s wrong with him?” Melissa asked while kneeling beside the omega who seemed to not know where he was. “We don’t know, he seemed to have some water but then he…” “ETHAN!” Aiden cut off Jackson with a yell when his twin started convulsing on the floor, the yell woke some of the wolfpack. Scott came sprinting into the open kitchen with Issac on his tail. “What's going on?” Scott asked only to receive silence as his answer. Melissa shook her head when Ethan stopped convulsing and his body remained super still. Aiden hovered beside his brother's head with a very worried Jackson. Argent placed himself in the doorway stopping anyone else from getting past him. Issac frowned looking at the omega who remained rigid on the floor, looking too peaceful.
