New school. New people. New place. New country. She couldn't mess it up. Francoise Dupont was behind her. They wouldn't find her. She was by herself to make a new start. She knew that no one would miss her. And that was probably what hurt the most. She wasn't going to try to meet anybody new. No friends, no enemies.
Easily forgettable.
Violent threats were common in the Wayne household. The main perpetrators were Stephanie, Damian, and Jason. This morning, it was Damian. He wasn't a fan of bringing out his katanna this early in the morning, but he was carefully considering that option. Jason was the absolute bane of his existence. He would pay in blood. To start off with his unsatisfactory morning, he overslept. Damian was not a fan of rushing in the mornings, and he was sure that he had set an alarm for his usual time. But Jason, the absolute scum of the earth though it would be funny to change his alarm to one hour later. Consequently, he was woken up one hour later. It was by sheer luck that he had picked up his outfit the night before. He bolted to the shower and changed in record time.
"Master Damian! Breakfast is ready!" Alfred called from the dining hall.
He came down the stairs, only to find a suspiciously calm Jason already at the table, wearing an oddly self-satisfied grin.
"Demon Spawn." He said.
"Todd." Damian acknowledged.
Alfred brought out breakfast and Damian scarfed it down in 30 seconds.
"Woah. Where are you going?" Jason called from the dining room.
"Rub your last two brain cells together and figure it out." He snapped.
"Sheesh."Jason responded, raising his hands in protest.
Damian heard Jason's footsteps walking to the study.
The footsteps picked up, and Damian instinctively turned around to see Jason holding his backpack. Damian's eyes narrowed.
"Looking for something?" Jason grinned, holding up the backpack like it was a million dollar trophy.
"Todd. If you don't hand over my bag, so help me, I'll-"
"You'll what?" He smirked.
Damian scanned his surroundings. Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted his katana. Normally, he wouldn't have wanted to start a sword fight this early in the morning, but Todd was not giving him a choice. Faster than light, he lunged for the sword and started towards Jason. Jason sprinted back towards the dining room, with Damian in hot pursuit.
"Todd. I'm going to count to three before I kill you." Domain spat, venom lacing itself through his words.
"One."
"Come and get it!"
"Two."
Jason laughed.
Rather than finishing the count, Damian lunged at Jason's throat, completely disregarding the blatant no harm rule.
Jason chuckled at Damian's aggressiveness, and threw the bag at him.
Waves of anger rippled off of the assassin like wind. He wouldn't get away with this.
"Master Damian, the car is ready." Alfred said, completely unaware of what he had just missed.
Without saying another word, he walked out the door.
~
Intimidating. That would be the first word she would use to describe it. Gotham Academy was a huge brick building that was five stories high. A swarm of people chatting animatedly passed her as she gazed in awe.
