Charlie and I look around the first floor of her house. Her father was nowhere to be seen. That's when we see the back door open. We exchange glances and then headed into the backyard. We could only just see Henry through the slight opening of the shed. Sounds like he's building something in there. All you could hear outside of the shed were loud hammer bangs and wrench twists. Once we got up to the shed, Charlie knocked on the door. No answer, Henry obviously didn't want any disturbance. But Charlie kept going and knocked over and over. Henry sighs and finally opens the shed door fully seeing us standing outside of it. This time his hands were covered in black stuff. Oil. Oil all over his hands, I wonder if he's fixing an animatronic in there...

"Sorry, you can't come in. I'm very busy." Henry told us as he turned his head toward inside the shed then back to us. We pleaded for him to talk to us for a moment but he still refused. He turned and shut the shed completely.

"Darn, all we wanted was to know what he was doing." I whined, Charlie nodded, she seemed pretty upset as well.

"Well, want to get dinner? It's surprisingly getting really late." Charlie asked me placing her hands on her stomach.

I was pretty hungry, so I accepted our dinner outing and she told me to follow her. Here we go walking again, she couldn't drive. I was considering on doing so soon though. It'd be nice to drive Charlie and I around to places. She leads us to a nice diner, not Freddy's. Freddy's was still barely running, but it was way further away. It would be almost 11:00PM before we got back to Charlie's place after eating. So Charlie too us to this small sweet diner. Charlie told me their food was good there, so hopefully it's just as good as Freddy's was. I highly doubted it though, nothing could beat that pizza...

As we went inside the diner, we ordered and had a nice long conversation still wondering what Charlie's father could be doing in the shed. Charlie didn't have a curfew, but if she didn't tell her father where she was or if she was okay by 1:00AM, her father calls her. I don't have a curfew either, mostly because I live alone now, no family to see when I get there.

"Here's your burgers kiddos." A male waiter exclaimed smiling bright and handing our food over. We thanked him and he walked off back into the kitchen.

"Wow, he was just as sweet as the waiters are at Freddy's." Charlie finally spoke after swallowing her first bite of her burger. Then she stops, she sits still, I was assuming she was thinking about Freddy's after mentioning it out just like that.

"Yeah, Freddy's is a great place to be at for pizza. I haven't been in so long." I replied trying to make Charlie stop being still and awkward. She looked at me then nodded taking another bite of her burger.

We ate in silence most of the meal, the burgers were really good. Super tasty, but not as tasty as Freddy's pizzas of course, that'll always be my all-time-favourite food. When we finished we stayed a little longer to talk about things. Like what we used to play and do at Freddy's. I remember William taking me, Michael, and his two younger twin siblings Elizabeth and C.C (Crying Child) to Freddy's. We had lots of fun there, usually William only secretly took me and Michael there so Lizzy and C.C wouldn't annoy us. As long as we didn't disturb William of course.

After our little talk we were about to walk out of the diner when I saw someone at a table alone. They had bright long ginger hair, looked like a woman, she saw me looking and quickly looked away from me again. I couldn't help but realize how... familiar she was. Charlie grabbed my arm and pulled me out, I was still trying to look at her but stopped as soon as we were out of the diner.

"Y/N, you can't just stare at people, it's- are you still staring!?" I was. I couldn't stop. I looked out the window; I didn't listen to a word Charlie was saying. Then she moved me out of the way to see who I was staring at. Then her eyes widened. The woman turned again and saw us both staring. She gave an awkward but sweet smile and wave, then looked at the menu.

"I recognize her... it's been a while since I've seen her around... is that meant to be...?" Charlie said as she squinted her eyes a little. "Mrs. Afton? Yeah, that's Mrs. Afton!"

My eyes widened at the name, that was who it was. THAT'S why she was so familiar to me. Out of everyone in the Afton family, I forgot about William's wife. I loved her, she was the sweetest woman I've ever met. I always thought of her as a mother. If she knew it was me, she would've been very shocked too. But I'm guessing she didn't. I don't blame her though, I look a fair bit different compared to when I was a kid and it has been 7 years. Although, she surprisingly looked the same...

"I remember you told me that you were best friends with William Afton's oldest child Michael." Charlie finally spoke, I jump a little forgetting she was beside me. "I can't believe I didn't see Mrs. Afton, I should definitely ask to see her and the family again sometime."

"Yeah, you're lucky you get to see them a lot. It's been 7 years since I've seen them..." I frowned, Charlie stopped walking and placed a hand on my shoulder. I continued. "She didn't recognize any of us either. I thought she would've at least recognized you."

"Well, maybe she did. That would explain her wave." Charlie let go of my shoulder and we kept walking. We were silent for a moment, I looked around the neighbourhood and kept picturing Mrs. Afton at the diner.

"How do you think the Afton's are doing?" I asked. Charlie smiled.

"We could ask my father, but I think he'd be sleeping by now. He likes going to bed early."

Once we got back to her house I thought it'd be best if I started going back to my house. So Charlie and I hugged at her front door and I started walking to the train station to go home. On the train I was still thinking about witnessing Mrs. Afton at the diner. Maybe I should've talked to her. Said hi, or 'hey remember me?' No, that would be weird! I giggled at myself and stayed silent the rest of the way home.
