Looks like there's an improvised crickets sound accompanying the awkward atmosphere between Nayeon and Mina right now.

Mina already speaks a few words a while ago but Nayeon seems to be having some problem finding the right word to say.

Feels like it's been ages since she last saw the Japanese girl. And what makes it more difficult is she's blaming herself for what happened between them, she thinks that there's a beef between them after Nayeon leaves Mina inside that specific apartment room along Cornelia Street. That's why it's hard for her to face Mina with enough audacity after the mess she left in the prior city.

"Did you find Ray, hon?- Oh, Nayeon?"

The familiar voice of the other Japanese girl made Nayeon's neck twist to change her direction of sight from Mina to Sana who is standing beside her, then her eyes went down just to see the ring that signifies their marriage that is still on Mina's ring finger.

Partly surprised because Nayeon thought that the couple would cut the tie of their relationship once Sana knew the thing she once had with her spouse.

However, expecting a sign of fury from Sana's facade, Nayeon just sees the happiness in Sana's expression. Looking pleased with how they finally get to meet each other again after all these months, Sana also looks glad because the longing for her beloved friend has now ended.

By that, she concluded that Mina didn't let any detail about them be exposed.

She uphold what she said.

Nayeon remember the words they left to each other. Mina clearly hides everything from her wife because she can't see or sense any trace of dissatisfaction from Sana's presence towards her.

"Uhm... hi, Sana... and Mina," said Nayeon after those thoughts vanished. She can barely smile genuinely at the couple. The furrowed brows made it evident.

"What are you doing here, by the way?" Sana asked.

"I- Uhm... I brought my friend here." The older one nods as she answers.

"Ma'am, pets aren't allowed inside the hospital." A tall guard approached them, all their attention went to the guard. But there's Mina who can't disconnect the cord of her sight from the bunny teeth girl.

Of course, Nayeon wasn't being deprived of feeling that little action of Mina. She tried hard to not let her eyes betray her by giving any glances to the younger one.

"Oh yeah, right. We're going any time soon, Sir. We're not staying for long." The man nods, understanding Sana's response.

"How did all of you end up here?"

"Well, it's this Mina's furry friend here who sneaks out from his loosened leash. We're just out there from the convenience store beside the hospital. He ran here for God knows how." The hamster-like girl chuckles while shaking her head, Nayeon also finds it funny so she let out a soft giggle.

"I'm afraid we're taking too much of your time, Nayeon. We're going now." Then Sana's hand made its way to Mina's hand to hold it. Nayeon gazed over the sight and then felt this uncomfortableness for the second time.

"Yeah... it's just sad that we only have limited time right now-"

"Ms. Im?" Before Nayeon could finish what she was saying, a nurse comes to her side.

"Yes?"

"You need to go back to the room, Ms. Im. Her consciousness came back now."

As the nurse said the news to Nayeon, the bunny teeth girl looks like she can't figure out what will be her reaction to that.
