y/n's bestfriend, Austin

Austin is a kind, shy, sweet, charming boy who never gives up easily. He is also very talented and has big dreams. He's a very friendly person but sometimes the other person has to make the first move. Austin has soft blonde hair, blue ocean eyes and a
brightening smile.
Moving to y/n, she is also a very kind, friendly and an adventurous person. She loves to read and listen to music and also has big dreams. She would fight for what she loves and makes sure they're happy. Y/n is just beautiful. She has beautiful hair, dreamy eyes and a
pretty smile.

it all started when y/n and Austin were in about 5th grade. Austin and his parents would always come by y/n's house because Austin's parents and y/n's parents were very good friends in highschool. The first few days Austin's parents would go over to y/n's house were really awkward for y/n and Austin.

*flashback*

"how you doing man? it's been a while" y/n's father pound hugs Austin's father, David.
"it's all good! how about you?" David replied while Austin's mother, Lori, hugs y/n's mother exclaiming with joy. "I missed you so much I never thought we would meet again after college!" said Lori while hugging y/n's mother. "well now look at us all reuniting after years" y/n's mother said while giggling.
And there was y/n and Austin standing by their parents watching awkwardly.

"Aust dear that's y/n, mine and dad's friends daughter. She's your age!" said Lori bending slightly down to Austin referring to y/n standing there smiling softly. "hi!" y/n lets her hand out for a shake. "hello" Austin replies with a slight smile while shaking y/n's hand.

"so how are things?" y/n's dad asks David and Lori in curiosity. "never been better!" Lori replied. "normal parents' life" David says with a chuckle. "relatable" says y/n's mother with a giggle. "let's go have a drink and catch up!" y/n's father says. "good idea" David says in agreement. "y/n, why not get to know Austin more and show him your books while me and your dad catch up with Aunt Lori and Uncle David?" suggests y/n's mother sweetly to y/n. "mhm sure!" y/n replies.

Austin and y/n's parents all went to the dining room while y/n's dad goes to take a bottle of wine and some wine glasses for them. Y/n brings Austin to her room to show him her book collection.

Austin was amazed by how simple yet beautiful y/n's shelves and walls were. "you decorated and organized your room all by yourself??" asked Austin in awe. "The idea was mine, but my mom helped me arrange the books and photos on the wall and my dad built this shelf himself!" y/n replies with a smile. "wow.. seeing your room makes me realize how unorganized my room is most the time" Austin giggles. "boys ofc" y/n jokingly says in sarcasm. "heyy I meant my room isn't as organized as yours it's plain cuz I don't pay much attention to my room" Austin explains with a soft smile. Y/n softly says "honestly my room wasn't exactly like this before you and your parents came. It was messy but yk how mom's go "clean up your room we're expecting guests!" yea so that's why even I'm kinda in awe" y/n chuckles. "fr??" Austin laughs.

After a few seconds of laughter, y/n and Austin slowly get to know each other.
"so.. do you have any siblings?" y/n asks Austin. "I do, actually" Austin replies. "I have an elder sister. Her name is Ashley, she's two years older than me. She didn't come today because she had some school event" he added. "oh I see.. so it's Ashley and Austin. that's cute!" says y/n. "thanks! how about you? do you have any siblings?" asked Austin.
"yep. I have an older brother. His name is Luke and he's 7 years older than me. He's in college now" y/n says. "that's nice" Austin says being interested to know more about y/n. "what do you like to do?" he asks. Y/n replies "I like reading,-" "obviously" Austin cuts her off jokingly with a giggle. Y/n laughs slightly and continues what she was saying. "I also like listening to music and binge watching some shows on Netflix" "what band." Austin asks eagerly. "Arctic monkeys and Maroon 5 all the way brooo" y/n proudly exclaims. "AYEEE LOVE THE MUSIC TASTEEE" Austin joyfully says. "but if I were to ask you to pick one, which would you pick?" asks Austin. "Arctic monkeys." y/n says confidently. "The only right answer besfren" Austin says with a smile. "You listen to them too???" y/n asks in shock. "duh" Austin replies. "omg many people that I have met literally don't know who they are or are not fans of them and finally there's you" y/n says giving out a slight giggle at the end.

*end of flashback*

"GO AUSTIN SHOOT!" Ashley cheers as Austin and Luke are playing basketball in the backyard. "LUKE IK YOU CAN DO THIS I BET 50 BUCKS WITH ASHLEY AND SAID YOU WILL WIN DON'T LET ME DOWN I'LL BUY DINNER YOU TONIGHT" y/n shouts and laughs while giving Luke support.

Austin gets the ball from Luke and runs to the hoop

"NO NO NO NO NO AUST WE'RE BESTFRIENDS YOU CAN'T DO THAT TO MY BRO-" y/n shouts trying to distract Austin.

anddd Austin jumps and shoots the ball in for the fifth time.👍🏼

"hell yeah I did" Austin says proudly as he lands. "YES YES LET'S GOOOO I GET MY 50 BUCKS" Ashley says jumping proudly. "you're getting real good at this bro good game!" Luke puts his arm around Austin's shoulder and walks with him towards Ashley and y/n. "welp there goes my 50 bucks" y/n says and sarcastically smiles at Luke. "I'll buy you mcdonalds dw" Luke replied. "awhh someone suddenly woke up on the wrong side of the beddd" Austin says jokingly. "oh shut up" y/n laughs.
