"That was quite the close one." said the Doctor, panting and whipping the sweat from his face. "Agreed." replied Big Mac. The Doctor began to pull a few switches and levers as and the time rotor on the console moved upward and downward.

"Golden dear, could you read the radiation gage for me?" asked the Doctor looking around the console at Golden. "Yes grandfather, all readings are normal." said Golden as the meter rose into the red zone.

Once the Tardis crew left the Tardis, the appeared outside of the police box in a forest filled with leafless trees as far as their eyes could see. But not all was dead, there was little brush around the trees and canopy floor.

"Well this is quite bleak..." muttered The Doctor.

"Well, at least there's not as much danger here as there was the last place we were at." said Big Mac leaning on a branch, the branch snapped a few seconds after Big Mac leaned on it, not able to handle the pressure. "Dear boy please do be careful." said The Doctor shaking his head back and forth.

"Grandfather, come look at this." said Golden sitting down in front of one of the most beautiful flowers you could ever imagine.

"Why that looks a bit like a tulip." said the Doctor. But from not far away, the group heard Cheerilee scream. Cheerilee screamed because what she saw, was a giant lizard about half the size of a regular pony.

"No worries, I'll protect you." said Big Mac tripping over a stone, falling onto the lizard, smashing the beast to bits.

"You okay?" asked the Doctor. "Is anything broken?"

"Nope." replied Big Mac getting up.

"It seems to have been hollow." said The Doctor picking up one of the shattered pieces.

"Grandfather?" asked Golden.

"Yes what is it my dear" replied The Doctor.

"I think I see a city over those mountains!" she'd said pointing a hoof at a glimmer of light. There was a group of large buildings. The buildings were bright metallic colors, but all was seemingly made of metal.

"I don't see any people down there." said Cheerilee. The Doctor then pulled a pair of binoculars out of his carrying bag and took a closer look at the city.

"It doesn't seem like there are any people down there." said The Doctor looking through the binoculars.

"Do you think there's somepony living with snide of the city?" asked Big Mac.

"It's possible, we must go down and discover." said the Doctor fixing his coat.

"No way, we don't know if it's safe. For all we know there could be horrible danger awaiting us there in the city. It'd be better if we waited this one out tin the Tardis."

"I suppose you're right my boy." the Doctor said, smirking just as he turned around to take one last look at the city. This was because The Doctor had a plan. After everyone had re-entered the Tardis, while no one was looking, the Doctor sabotaged his own ship and removed the Mercury fluid link. So when The Doctor started the Tardis, it huffed, puffed, and whirred to a stop.

"What's the matter grandfather?" asked Golden worryingly.

"My dear, it seems that the Mercury fluid link is low, it needs more Mercury." he replied.

"Surely you have a spare." wondered Big Mac.

"No, no my dear. I'm afraid we'll have to go to the city and get some more." said The Doctor trying his best to lead the group toward the city.

"I guess the city it is then." said Bug Mac worriedly. After 20 minutes of trotting they finally reached the city. There were three large sliding doors. Big Mac took the one on the far left, The Doctor and Golden to the one on the far right, and Cheerilee took the one in the center. After awhile, Cheerilee began to wonder about the halls of the city. Until suddenly, one of the sliding doors closed on her. Cheerilee banged her hooves on the door in panic. She was in a corner with two doors shut, a dead end. But then, the door to Cheerilee's side openedy and out came a creature in a tin can.

Cheerilee backed up into a wall and screamed for help...
