Its Gotta be you (pt.10)

VANESA POV:

The next morning Louis came up to my room to talk.

"So you broke up with him?" He asked sounding upset.

I nodded, not happy with the idea either, "yeah."

"But why? I know he kept it a secret from you, but he really does love you."

I frowned, "I know and I love him, too. He was there for me and made me feel alive again. I couldn't ask anything more of him, but I can't get over Harry. I had something incredibly special with Harry before and it's not right to just throw that away like it meant nothing. You can't love two people at the same time; it's not fair to them."

Louis nodded, "I understand."

HARRY POV:

So Zayn and Vanesa were over, but I had no idea why. I felt sorry for Zayn, I really did. No matter what he was still my bandmate and my best friend, but a part of me couldn't help but feel happy. Yes, she wasn't mine anymore, but she wasn't Zayn's either. I couldn't just get over her like that. There was something there between us that I wasn't going to let go.

Paul called us into the living room, saying he had good news. As each of us walked into the living room, silence fell over us. We just looked at each other. Zayn looked tired as if he hadn't gotten any sleep at all; I could imagine why. Vanesa looked down not wanting to make eye contact with anybody. Everything was so quiet and it wasn't the same anymore, but the room lit up when Paul said:

"One Direction has been nominated for best artist of the year and has been invited to perform at this year's New Year's Eve Global Awards ceremony!"

We high fived; this was a huge honor. After our mini celebration we each went to our own seperate rooms.

"Harry,"

I turned around and she stood there with her hands in her pockets. I was shocked to have her even speak to me.

"Um-...hi." Thats it? You're just going to say hi to her?

"Um, Congrats on being nominated." She bit her lip.

I smiled, "Thanks."

She nodded and walked away. As I continued towards my room I couldn't help but smile. It had been a while sincewe've talked and I really missed her.

Louis came into my room saying he had something important to tell me. He sat on the edge of the bed, "I know...and she knows."

I cocked my head to one side and laughed, "Are you ok boo bear? What are you talking about?"

"Vanesa knows why you broke up with her. The real reason. She kows management made you do everything. She overheard Paul and the chief say it."

My face lit up, "Wait so she knows the truth now? Is that why she broke up with Zayn? Is she coming back to me?!"

Louis sighed, "Yeah thats why they broke up...but Harry...she's not coming back to you..."

My smile disappeared, "What? Why?"

"She said she loved Zayn as much as she loved you and that it's not fair to love two people at the same time.

I shook my head, "But Louis,...I Love her. I need to get her back."

"But Harry-"

I cut Louis off, "Think, if management hadn't made me do this Vanesa and I would still be together. I love her and I can't let her go."

Louis thought for a bit, "Look mate, I can't imagine what you three are going through right now, but it must hurt. I just hope in the end everybody's alright." He stood up and left.
