Trust Issue's And Sanity Crumbling

Fear, a emotion so primal and raw for every living thing, there are many types of fear and almost too many to even count. Fear of the ocean, of snakes, of spiders as well, but the far most powerful one most would say would be the fear of the unknown.

Though that saying is correct in certain way's it's not the strongest in my opinion, the fear I think would be strongest is the fear of losing something, be it loved one's, friend's, feeling's, or sanity.

The fear of losing something can drive the strongest men to commit horrible atrocities, the fear of losing a lover to another human makes one snap and commit murder, the fear of watching your parents die in front of you makes you weep in sorrow.

The fear of losing your mind as you age makes you wish for immortality, the fear of loss is the strongest and oldest fear in my opinion no matter what.

Ruby and Yang are experiencing the fear of losing another loved one as they are now completely alone, they will not open their heart's for a long time if ever, we shall see if they do even a little in the future of this story.

Ruby slowly awoke from her brief bout of unconsciousness, only to be assaulted by the pain of the bruises the men gave her and Yang, her head hurt the worst since she got hit with a metal pipe there.

Her hair was slightly caked with a small amount of dried blood from that pipe hitting her skull. Ruby look at the dried blood with disgust and a slight bit of arousal, she hated that she was still so weak to get put down by a single blow.

Ruby slowly looked around the room she had found herself in, it was rather a run down bedroom that had a single bed and a dresser in the corner. Ruby felt the bed shift as Yang came out from under the comforter by her feet.

"Ruby where are we?" Yang let out a huge yawn as she snuggled into Ruby's side, Ruby grabbed Yang with her arm's as Yang snuggled closer.

"I don't know, but be on your guard." Ruby heard footstep's slowly walking up to the room's door, only to be tackled by a girl shorter than her!

"OOOF!" Ruby couldn't breath as this ice cream colored girl squeezed the life out of her, where did she even come from?!

"Well it seems you two are finally awake!" The orang haired man from yesterday stood leaning against the doorframe, making quite the Cheshire grin at Ruby and Yang that made them feel a bit concerned at his intentions.

"Neo, please don't crush our guest with your hug as well." Neo let out a small but adorable pout as she let go of Ruby, Ruby massaged her now bruised rib's and body her aura was now healing.

"Well it seems after we fell unconscious you took us to where ever this place is, you are looking mighty suspicious right now candlestick." Yang made her own Cheshire grin as she took the full scope of their situation, while Ruby got ready to fight again in case this candlestick tried something.

"I only helped you two because Neo here wanted me to, she's had a rather rough past and hates when the stuff you two were suffering by those thug's happens." Neo gave a small wave at the two sister's so their lost their battle stance, but they were still on their guard around the man no matter what.

"If you want to earn our trust it's going to take a LONG time, especially after what we've been through and what we did..." Ruby and Yang's face instantly became acidic and tortured at the mention of the thing they supposedly did by Ruby, making the orange haired male teen raise a rather bushy eyebrow.

'It seems they hold a large amount of guilt and pain for what they did, but it's not my place to pry into this matter that's theirs alone.' Roman continued into his thought's about the girl's, he knew they must be at least a little loose in the head since Ruby killed that one man. After seeing the very hurt look on the sister's face's Neo jumped towards Ruby again, landing on her and actually ended up straddling her making Neo blush a bit.
