It's been a couple of weeks since Logan started working as a trainer at the Performance Centre and Mandy's title run is still going strong, they can't be happier, their relationship is going stronger and stronger the more their together, this morning is no different, Logan woke up first with Mandy sound asleep.
He glanced at the clock beside them and saw it's still early, so he thought he'd repay his daughter for all the times she's woke them up early, Logan managed to get his arm free of Mandy's hold then slip out the bed without waking her up, he put on a pair of pants before leaving the room, Rose's room is right opposite their's, although they've talked about moving, maybe into a house, mainly so Rose can have a bigger garden to run around in, not because both Mandy and Logan want to make their little family bigger.
Logan: Morning, princess.
Logan knelt down by her bed and woke her with a little nudge, it was a nice change for him to wake her up instead of the other way around but the result was still the same, her smiling and wanting a hug, so Logan wrapped his arms around her, picking her out the bed.
Logan: Want to make breakfast with me?
She nodded with another smile, still a little tired so she rubbed her eyes clear of the sleep, Logan thought it was adorable, as he picked up her bear, handing it to her, then leaving her room as well, he walked them down the hall to the open living space, letting her sit on the side as he cooked the food.
Logan: So, pancakes or waffles?
Rose looked like she was thinking for a moment while her father got the bites and pieces together, he's not sure why he woke up so early today but he didn't mind, Mandy has a pretty busy day today with NXT on Tuesday, so a good breakfast is always something to start the day of with, Logan always tries to make them breakfast in the morning, he learnt to cook from his father, he was a Navy chief, so the least he can do is cook for his girlfriend and daughter.
Rose: Both!
She cheered now a little bit more awake, Logan her teddy bear now in her arms as she smiled behind the toy, Logan, her father looked to her with squinted eyes before thinking about it for a second, there's not actually any reason that she can't have both, Logan wants waffles and he knows Many will want pancake's so he's making both anyway so why not.
Logan: Half of one, half of the other.
Rose nodded to her dad making him smile then getting on with not making a mess, honestly when he did that before he was just trying to make Rose laugh, he's only been in the girls life for a few weeks now but it's been the best few weeks of his life, easily, not that he hasn't enjoyed life up until this point because he has, but this feels right, it's like he belongs here and he never wants to lose this family thing he has now.
Mandy: Morning sweetheart.
Logan and Rose looked over to the hall and saw Mandy walking towards them, she must have just woke up because she looks half asleep, not too tired to kiss her daughters head then walk around the island and give Logan a quick kiss making them both smile, last night was very fun, they tried something new and it might be something they have to do every night now.
Rose: Mommy, does daddy hurt you?
Mandy just grabbed the milk out the fridge when she asked her that, Logan stopped what he was doing a little caught off by that question, what has he done that will make her think that he hurts her, Logan's never raised a hand to anyone in his life, well, not with intent to hurt, the only time he's actually done any sort of fighting is wrestling and play fighting, he's not a violent person.
