Delilah gasped and shot up. The person next to her jumped at the sudden movement. Delilah frantically tried to get off of whatever bed she was on.
"No, you need to stay!" Amaya shouted. "You can't be-"
"I have to get up!" Delilah continued to gasp. "Where is Haden? Where is-?"
"Delilah! Hold still!" Amaya shouted. "Cole!"
Cole came running in and helped Amaya shove Delilah back onto the table. Delilah fought with all her strength but Cole was too strong for her.
"Delilah," Cole soothed. "You have to calm down."
"Where is Haden," Delilah burst into tears. "Where is Veronica? Is Aiden okay?"
"Shhhhh," Amaya soothed as she brushed tears off of Delilah's cheeks.
"Please tell me," Delilah sobbed. "Where is Haden?"
"Haden....Haden was hurt really badly, Delilah," Cole whispered, seemingly holding in his own tears. "Delilah, he might not make it."
Delilah screamed in anguish and tried again to wrestle out of Cole's grip.
"Delilah, you're going to hurt yourself more!" Amaya shouted. "Cole, we have to calm her down."
"What do you want me to do?" Cole grunted as he tried to hold her. "I'm going to accidentally hurt her if she doesn't stop struggling."
"Here," Zane walked into the room carrying a shot of some kind. "I had a feeling we would need this."
"No! Let me go to Haden!" Delilah screamed again. Zane poked the needle into her arm and she tried to twist away. "No!"
A few seconds later her eyes rolled back and her head rolled to the side. Cole let out a sight of relief and let go.
"Her neck is at extreme risk of damage," Zane sighed. "If she does that again, she could paralyze herself. Not to mention bother her collar bones are broken from Veronica."
"I'm surprised she fought so hard in her condition," Cole heaved. "She is a lot stronger than she looks."
"What should we do?" Amaya asked Zane. "Do we have something to keep her calm?"
"I might," Zane sighed.
"Have we heard anything on Haden?" Cole asked worriedly.
"He is in surgery," Zane put a hand on Cole's shoulder. "It doesn't look good."

Jacquline rocked Aiden back and forth. He had barely just stopped crying. He was beginning to fall asleep.
Lloyd sat with his head in his hands in the seat across from Jacqueline. Aira rubbed his back though her eyes puffy and red from crying.
"Dad!" Julia burst into the waiting room. "We came as soon as we heard."
Xavier came running in behind Julia with James in tow.
"Is Aiden okay?" Xavier came rushing to his nephew. Jacqueline shushed him.
"He is okay," Jacqueline assured. "I just got him the stop crying though. Please try not to wake him. He is traumatized."
"What happened?" James asked in anguish.
"Veronica happened," Lloyd looked up at his children with swollen eyes. "I knew I had a bad feeling about this."
"It's not your fault, Lloyd," Aira shushed him gently. "It's nobody but Veronica's fault."
Lloyd was about to speak when the waiting room doors opened again and this time Karloff came hurrying through.
