Chapter Ten

"Uncle Zane!" Haden shouted as he ran into Zane's laboratory.

Zane shot up, completely startled at the sudden noise. He glared at Haden but Haden ignored it. He rushed over to Zane's computer and started to type something on it.

"What exactly do you think you are doing?" Zane asked incredulously. He made a grab for his computer but Haden smacked his arm away, keeping his eyes glued to the screen.

"I'm looking for someone," Haden answered without looking up. "You have the best technology in Ninjago besides Cyrus Borg. Geez Luis! How do you work this thing?"

"Maybe you should ask me for help instead of getting on my computer without asking," Zane chided.

"What? Do you have things on here you don't want me to see?" Haden teased. "Robot stuff?"

"Shut up and give me my computer," Zane said, rolling his eyes at Haden. "Besides, Pixal is all I need."

"That's cute. Now I need to find an assassin," Haden explained quickly. "How would one go about finding an assassin?"

"Jay could not have gotten on your nerves that badly," Zane joked. "I doubt an assassin is necessary to take care of him."

"Did you just make a joke?" Haden asked.

"I am not completely humorless," Zane retorted. "I need a description of the person you are looking for."

"Well, she has black hair and brilliant, blue eyes," Haden said thoughtfully. "She had a scar below her left eye. Also, she is very well built."

"What do you mean by well built?"

"Well, you know," Haden made an outline of an hourglass in the air with his hands.

"I see you studied her closely," Zane remarked as he turned back to his computer.

"I'm a guy! I notice these things!"

"So I have gathered," Zane responded without looking up. "Is this who you are looking for?"

"Yes! How did you do that?" Haden asked.

"I have my methods," Zane answered. "It might help that she is wanted for the assassination of Neuro's son two months ago."

"She killed Haley's brother?!" Haden exclaimed incredulously.

"That is what it says," Zane shrugged. "He also found himself in some shady business. That is probably why he was assassinated."

"Good grief," Haden placed his hand on his forehead and shook it in disbelief. "Maybe I shouldn't be saving this girl."

"What are you doing?" Zane asked. "Is not she the one that hurt Lloyd?"

"It's a long story. Will you find her location for me?" Haden shook his head. "I'll tell the story to you later. I need to go get Aiden from Cole."

"Not until you tell me why you need to find her," Zane raised an eyebrow at him.

"I promised her a favor for saving my parents," Haden sighed. "And now someone is trying to kill her."
