A Quiet Place

As they had been walking for a while, they were already very tired. They walked further and soon saw a place that was upside down, so they were getting closer to the place and soon realized that it looked like a market.
it looked quite like an old market that the various people had entered to get things to survive.  Eve went in first to see if there were traps and creatures, from what she looked with the light of the flashlight there was nothing in her view, Eve gave the order for the children to enter slowly, y/n seemed to be in some pain, but if held tight.  They lit it with the flashlight and found an empty room, entered, rested and drank water.
Y/n seemed to be very tired and didn't say a word, eve was worried not only about y/n, but everyone who was there with her.  She tidied up the babies' box, placed them and left them there with y/n by her side, opened some sheets and even though it was uncomfortable for them, but the tiredness was greater, but even so they lay down very tight and cold, and so they started to night to get up early to look for a place to stay as the old house must already be in ashes.  While the children rested for a while, Eve got up and went for a walk through the abandoned market to see if she could find things that would work for them like water, canned goods, medicine, anything that would be useful.  She found some things and put them in her backpacks, she was sleepless due to constant worries, she was just on the lookout.

Without realizing it, Eve had fallen asleep at the door sitting and woke up with the sunlight and the crying of babies that echoed and movements in the trees, ran to the back where everyone was, woke up the children who were sleeping very tired and that's why they didn't wake up, when eve touched y/n he saw that she was a little pale and hot but still she got up and helped with her sister and eve fed them both.  As y/n was weak the sister stayed inside the box and they left for the journey again looking for a new shelter.

I admit that I couldn't walk anymore, my legs couldn't walk anymore, but I was aware that finding a safe place to stay permanently with 5 children and without the
Lee would not be ANYTHING easy. But when I least expected it I saw a chimney and smoke came out of it?!  That smoke really gave me hope, because if there was smoke, maybe there were people, I showed the kids our new destination and we started to walk faster.
When we got close to the place, which was huge by the way, it looked like an old factory, but the challenge now was to go through the grate that only had one hole that only passed one at a time. stepping on a manual trap made of glass bottles and with that we heard the noise of movement in the woods, I ordered the boys to run to the door I had seen.

As soon as eve told us to run I ran with the few strength I had left, but I stopped running when I heard Marcus scream and I ran to where he had fallen and saw that he had stepped on a trap that pierced his foot with a long iron...
