(Y/N)'s POV
I sigh as I drag my chair over to where the rest of my group is. My thoughts are a sequence of 'Kill me. Kill me now. Hand me the gun'. Taking my place in between Cora and Ben, I can feel the tension that's settled across the group as everyone know Paige and I can't stand each other.
"Right, so we should probably chose our characters, so we can get started. Can I be a phobic person?" James says, breaking the silence.
"Sure, can I be like a foreign person? You know, someone that doesn't fully understand or speak english?" Ben says.
"That'd be funny. I could be a ned. That ok?" I ask.
"Of course. I mean you've had practice with those things." Paige says, giving me a smirk with a glint in her eye. "I'll be a posh person." She states, not asking.
"But you haven't had any experience of any kind." I retort. I give her an innocent face and she glares at me. Smirking triumphantly, I look her in the eye.
"Well....I could be a fashion person. I could be trying to sort your outfits while we wait for a bus." Cora adds, trying to defuse the tension. I turn away from Paige, now deciding to ignore her as much as I can. But I will be returning comments if she steps over a line.
For the first period, we discuss what should happen in our scene and start acting it out with minimum snarky comments from Paige. After the bell rings, Mrs Reed calls us back to sit down. Someone goes and gets the group in the smaller room and then someone gets the other group that Dylan was watching over in the other drama room. I didn't really notice they'd gone to be honest.
After everyone was gathered, she began speaking.
"Are we all doing well? Hows it going?" We nod our heads and a few say 'good' or 'well'. "Alright then, we'll keep going with it, and Ryan's group can go to the small room and - Yes Paige?" I turn and see her hand in the air.
"May my group-" Ha, 'my' "-go into the other room with Dylan? We could really use the help." She glances at me.
"Sure Paige. Everyone, back to work!"
At least I have another person to talk to.
