💕(Y/N)'s POV💕
"Hey Dylan! What're you doing here?" I say, taking out my headphones and shoving them into my pocket. Surprisingly my jacket has a pocket, because girls clothes never do.
"Well, I told them I had to leave early because I have to meet with my agent." I feel my face fall a little. Damn, he has to go. Seeing my face he smiles, walking next to me. "I don't actually have a meeting with my agent." I pull up my eyebrows and smirk.
"Oh. Then what are you doing here." I ask again.
"Well... You know you weren't in my classes today, I mean I wasn't in any of your classes today...um..so I just...uh...wanted to see yo- how you were." He stutters. I silently chuckle at him.
"I'm good. You?" I ask.
"Yeah, yeah, I'm alright." He replies. "Manage to get past screaming girls today? Or did you remember your lunch?" He pulls his eyebrows down in confusion, then releases them in realisation.
"No I, uh, remembered. Was a little lonely though. How about you?" He rambles.
"Oh, the girls were awful! They just couldn't understand that I was a normal person like them and the screaming! So loud." I mock. He gives me a playful glare. Then just laughs. "C'mon, you know what I mean." He says, nudging me. I nod my head. "Just normal talk really. Nothing really interesting." I admit.
"Hey, are you walking home?" He asks, stopping. I stop a few steps ahead of him, then turn around to face him.
"Yeah, why?"
"I could give you a ride if you want." He offers. I consider it.
"You sure?" I ask.
"Positive." I shrug my shoulders. I got nothing to lose.
"Alright then."
*
Dylan drove a slick black car. It wasn't what you'd call clean though.
I mean there wasn't any food packets, but he had to shove a lot of stuff in the backseat. He did really quickly, like I wouldn't see. He had
The radio playing quietly and. I couldn't resist asking to change it when a terrible song came on. When we couldn't find anything good, he switched it off.
"Oh take a left here." I tell him.
"Can I ask you something?" He says.
"You just did." I smirk. He rolls his eyes and smiles. But it tugs back down again.
"Seriously though."
"Ask away."
"Why do you and Paige hate each other so much?" He questions, glancing at me. I sigh.
"She hates me because I see her for the girl she really is. A manipulative toad. And thats why I hate her." I answer simply. "A right here." Before he can turn, the lights change to red and he stops.
"That might be part of the reason. But it looks like it goes deeper than that." He says. He looks over at me. "You weren't fine yesterday and I could tell. Why do you let her get to you? I meant what I said when I called her jealous." He adds. I fold my arms.
"She just does. Plus she was right when she said those things." I admit. He puts the car in gear as the as the lights change back to green.
"Is that what its about? You think she's right when she says stuff? Because she's not. She's really not." I shake my head slightly.
"Its not that. Well not really." I reply.
"Aha! So there is something else!" Damn it. My words slipped.
"Maybe. Ok fine yes. But look we're at my house! Ahh have to take a rain check." I say as he pulls to stop next to number 43. I unbuckle myself and am about to stand up, before he stops me by taking my wrist.
"(Y/N). Its ok if you don't want to tell me yet. But that doesn't mean that I don't want to know." He looks me in the eye and I stare back. I nod slowly.
"Thanks, I'll see you tomorrow." I say and he slowly let's go of me. His eyes stare just down from where my eyes use to be as I got out of the car.
"Yeah, no problem." He mutters. I close the door and walk up to my house. Before going in I give him a wave and he gives me a short one in response. I smile and go in. After I shut the door, I slide down to the floor, wrapped up in my own thoughts. Three minutes later is when I hear his engine start and pull away.
