I met her in a garden of daisies

Daisy's world

"WHAT?", spoke the girl.

"WHAT ARE THOSE? wings?! What are you?a mythical creature? a fairy? a monster? an angel?" I spoke, stunned.

"Nooo! I'm- I'm just a normal human! What are you talking about?" said the girl.

"But normal people certainly do not look like- like THAT!" I said.

Yeah how on Earth would a human have wings? That's impossible. This must be a dream. Should I try pinching myself? I should probably check-

"OWW" I cried as the girl pinched me before I can.

"Why did you do that? that hurts But WAIT! that hurts, that means I'm not in a dream... THEN WHERE ON EARTH AM I? WONDERLAND" I cried out.

"Bahahahaha you're funny Azuki~" the girl said, as she continued "and that's one of the many reasons why I love you so much" she smiled. 

"haha- yes I am but WHO IS AZUKI? I'M JUST AZU!" 

I was now too confused. I started slapping myself to wake up from this dream.

"Azu noo, don't hurt yourself, don't please." the girl tried to stop me. I did, but I didn't want to. I wanted to wake up. My mind was all messed up, first a weird girl claims to love me. Second she has got wings, like what in the world? and she just called me Azuki?! who even is that?! I'm losing it at this point.

"You're not.. Azuki? but.. you do look like him.." she said as her voice turned serious from cheerful.

"But I thought- I found you, Tell me that you're Azuki, Don't lie to me, Just tell me! everything would be alright, just say the words, I swear I won't tell anyone that you're alive, Azu, please..." she started weeping. 

Oh hell nah, what did she just say? Okay, come on Azu wake up, It's probably a dream. haha, silly me, Sorry maa, I won't watch too much anime, promise! but WAKE UP MEEEEE, THIS IS CRAZY!

I was talking to myself and then I looked at her. she was sitting there, weeping, her beautiful face was filled with sorrow and pain. Whoever this Azuki guy is, he must be really dear to her.

"Hey, don't cry.. I do know you but, I'm confused about your name, You look a lot like someone.. someone I like a lot.." I said while patting her back to claim her down.

She sudden grabbed my face and said "Look into my eyes, Don't you remember me?! Don't you know who you are?!" 

I didn't know what to say, I just looked into her eyes, they were blue, just like Emily's, I felt myself getting lost in those deep blue eyes, like I didn't want to stop staring at them. 

"Daisy..that's my name." She said as she let go of my face. "Oh, I knew that". I said casually.

"You always come into my dreams and ask to play." 

"No, I don't?" she said as she seemed a little surprised.

"But, Daisy's the name I gave you-" I said, I didn't see that coming.

"Mr.whoever you are, Azuki gave me that name, and the reason why I saved you was I thought you were Azuki, My Azuki." she said as I could feel how disappointed she was.

"Alright, whatever, but who is this Azuki and I'm Azu, you are the one who always come into my dreams but why are you here in real- okay maybe not but why?" I asked.

"Azu.. I may have the power to dive into the void, but I don't have the power to get into someone's dream." she spoke, "About Azuki, he is my first love, we were inseparable since forever. but 2 years ago, he..he committed the unthinkable.." her voice chocked as she spoke.

"Oh.. why- why did he do that?" I asked. 

She didn't say anything. So, I didn't ask anything much. I just decided to wait for her answer, or maybe just forget about it. We sat there, in the middle of nowhere, I didn't know what place it was but it was a garden of daisies.

I looked at Daisy, she was sitting there looking sad and overwhelmed with emotions. This Daisy was different from the Daisy I knew. The playful and joyful Daisy was no longer there. I picked up a daisy and put it behind her ear. 

"You should smile, it makes me smile too" I said hoping that she would cheer up.

She wiped her the tears she was holding back and smiled.

 "You even say the same sentences too, huh?"  she said.

I just smiled at her, I was happy that she smiled again. 

It kinda made my heart do a little flip too..

"You're blushing" Daisy said. "No, I'm not!, It's just my cheeks, not me" I said.

"Silly Azu" she giggled.

I don't care, she may think whatever she wants to think, but it's odd. It's odd how these things don't seem new to me. Anyways, the sky here looks beautiful,  a lot more than what I've seen before. 

"Daisy, where are we?" 

"Megatopia" she said.

I looked at her, "Mega what? does something like really exist? or am I just weak at geography?" I asked completely clueless about whatever was coming next.

"Huh? ohh, can you tell me what planet you came from?"  Daisy asked.

"..Earth?" 
"Oh, I assumed that."

I started laughing.
"Why are you laughing now?' she questioned as she didn't except that reaction.

"Now you'll tell me it's blah blah planet and you pulled me from Earth through some portal and I travelled through universe" I was laughing like a maniac at that point.

"That's what pretty much happened, I thought to look for Azuki's body, but I found you getting swallowed by the void demon and it's not blah blah planet human, It's our beautiful Megatopia" she spoke.

"AM I INSIDE A FREAKING MOVIE OR WHAT?" I screamed. 

"SHHHH don't scream, they'll hear you" daisy said as she placed her hand on my mouth to shut me.

There was an awkward silence for a moment and then we heard some noise, "Who was that?! Come out right now!!" 

Daisy took my hand and ran, she was super fast, I couldn't keep up with her but then she started fluttering her wings and we..

"WE'RE FLYING?!"

"SHUT UP!"

"BUT YOU'RE SHOUTING TOO"

"JUST DO WHAT I SAY, WILL YOU?"

"FINEE"

Having an argument mid air wasn't funny at all. As we flew over that field of daises, I saw how beautiful the surrounding were, I felt free and happy, I looked up at daisy...Oh I shouldn't have done that- 

"DON'T EVEN TRY TO LOOK UP, PERVERT"

"WHO TOLD YOU TO WEAR A DRESS?!"

"JUST DON'T AND STOP SHOUTING"

"unfair" I whispered, since I didn't want to continue that argument.

We flew for a few minutes or so I guess and then we landed in front of someone's house. It not what we expected a fairy or angel's house to be.. It was more modern looking than any house I've seen back on Earth.

"Are we still going to keep holding hands?" she said as she wanted to tease me.

I pulled my hand back in embarrassment as she laughed seeing my face which had turned into a red tomato by then.

"Come on in" She spoke.

I walked into her house, it was beautiful. Even if it was my first time entering her house, It didn't feel new to me at all, it was normal.

I spotted a picture on the wall, "Is that you and Azuki?"

"Oh, yeah" she said, "Please make yourself comfortable, I'll bring something for you to eat".

"Thank you" I said and she went to the kitchen.

I stared at the picture for a little longer.

"That day was fun, wasn't it?" I asked Daisy, I heard her coming.

"What day Azuki?" A voice spoke.

Wait... 
"..."

"Azu, I bought these, tell me how they taste.."

"Azu?"

Daisy screamed Azu's name but he was gone.
