At the hospital

Mitch pov
Jason was the first out of surgery then Lachlan but Carter was still in surgery because after she was hit she kept on running and it tore a bunch of tissue, I went to Jason's room to see how he was doing then I would go to check on Lachlan because that is what Carter would want.

Jason pov
Mitch was very worried about Carter despite what he kept telling me, I mean why wouldn't he his fiancé got shot then she ignored her pain to help me but I think she will be ok.

Mitch pov
I went to lachlan's room he was just watching tv but when he saw me he turned off the device "why" that was all that could leave my mouth I was holding back the tears that so desperately wanted to come out. Lachlan had guilty and pity filled to the brim.

Lachlan pov
I felt bad for Mitch he really cared about her unlike me and it's eating my insides I just couldn't find a answer for him and that's all he needed to walk out starting to cry.

Mitch pov
I went back to the waiting room, my head in my hands as I quietly sobbed but then the doctor came out with a grin on his face. "Mitchelle Huges" I was confused so I replied "yes"? Congrats "for what"now I was worried
"You are the father of quadruplets" I was baffled I never knew Carter was pregnant if I new she would of never went with this plan. "so I'm the father"
"Yes and u can see them and your wife now" I was ecstatic I ran to where they all where I can't believe I was a father I was speechless next to Carter there was three boys and a beautiful baby girl I ran to my wife and hugged kissed her this was a amazing day.

Carter pov
Mitch was so happy when he came busting into the room he invaded me with all of his love and affection. it was beautiful then he asked what where we going to name them we finally figured out to name them

We got to come home a week later and thank his we where at the team crafted house because we needed the room.

I headed back to the cabin where Lynn waited for me I gave her a weak smile and I asked her out she was shocked but said yes we went to bed happily.
