Max - "Lucas!"

Lucas - "Max!"

We hugged.

Max - "This is a such a surprise out of nowhere. What are you doing here?"

Lucas - "Well, I thought I stop in California a few days and see you, speaking of surprises, whose birthday is it?"

Max - "Oh - "

Sadie - "Mommy, can I open my presents now?"

Max - "Of course sweetie, it's your birthday."

Sadie - "Yay!"

I looked at Lucas and he had a shocked look on his face.

Max - "Surprise....again."

Lucas - "Max, congratulations. I'm so happy for you."

Max - "Thank you. Time flies, right?"

Lucas - "It sure does."
