Bennett scoops me up and carry's me into the house. I'm not the skinniest person in the world, which is completely okay, but I'm surprised he's able to lift me so easily.
With my head at his chest, the smell of his cologne fills my senses and I want to curl in closer against him, but I don't. That wouldn't be very respectful to his girlfriend.
He lays me on the couch in the living room and I tell him that the bathroom is the second door on the right. He nods and walks towards it.
I lay my head down, closing me eyes. My right cheek is in an immense amount of pain, and my hands are scraped up from trying to catch myself during the fall.
Bennett comes back after a few minutes and I see that he's found a wash cloth and some antibiotic ointment. I sit up, wincing when my hand makes contact with the sofa, and turn to face him. He sits down next to me and gently dabs the wet wash cloth on my cheek, cleaning the wound.
"Is that okay?" he whispers.
"Mhm," I mumble, closing my eyes again. I'm so tired.
After cleaning any debris off of my face, he puts a small amount of antibiotic ointment on his finger and softly rubs it onto my cheek.
"I washed my hands, don't worry," he says quietly.
"I wasn't worried," I say. "Thank you."
"No dog?" he asks, amused. This is the first time he's initiated a conversation.
"My dad is allergic," I say, smiling and then sighing at the pain is causes me.
He takes my hands and does the same thing he did to my face.
"Band-Aids?" he asks. I shake my head.
"I'm okay," I say. "I'm just really tired and I have class in the morning."
He nods, standing up and grabbing a blanket from the recliner on the other side of the living room. He drapes it over my body and looks at me intently for a second.
"Goodnight, Olivia," he says.
"I liked it when you called me Love," I mumble, closing my eyes.
"Goodnight, Love," he says. I hear the floor creak under him as he walks away, and I fall asleep shortly after the front door shuts behind him.

It's Thursday, which means I get to see all of my littles again for Kiddie Skate. We are actually on the ice today, so they are all wearing helmets and knee pads. They look so adorable.
I have the adults stand behind the kiddos and bend down, holding under their arms.
