YOUR POV
Feeling the warm ray of sunshine gently hit my face, I slowly open my eyes so I could get adjusted to the bright light. I groan getting out of the warm comfortable bed that I desperately didn't want to get out off.

'Sigh, another day in the 'fun' city of Gotham.' I thought sarcastically, getting out of bed and walked to my bathroom. I brush my teeth then take a nice bath.

After bathing, I decide to wear a nice outfit (picture on top). I walked downstairs to the kitchen and see my best friends, Rose and Sofia, in their pyjamas, watching TV while eating a bowl of cereal.

"Morning." I greet, walking past them.

"Morning n/n." Rose greets with a sweet smile when Sofia said.

"Why did just say 'Morning' instead of 'Good morning'?"

"Because one, I don't have the pleasure and privilege of sitting on my butt the whole day and two, because if it was a good morning, I would still be in bed."

I just shook my head slightly and made myself breakfast.

"Are you going to work today?" Sofia asks before I nodded while pouring milk in my cereal.

"Great, can you buy groceries when you get back?" Rose asks, finally turning her head towards me.

"Or maybe you can do it yourself." I said walking towards them and handed Rose eighty bucks.

"A little more." She said before I raised my brow.

"What? You work as Bruce Wayne's assistant and secretary, who gets paid a lot of ka-Ching." she said but I just rolled my eyes.

"I need to go before I arrive at work late." I grabbed my car keys, my phone and my bag and left.

I walked over to my car when I saw my next door neighbor, Mark. This guy has always had the tendency of annoying the heck out of me by flirting with me. I heard that he was a womaniser and in the end, he would end up breaking their hearts.

"Hey (n/n). How ya doing?" He called but i responded by just rolling my eyes.

"Hi Mark." I greet with a bored tone as he walked over to me.

"You didn't reply to my messages. I sent you like a million texts." He said but I rolled my eyes and I made sure that he noticed.

"I was busy." I lied.

"But couldn't you at least reply?" he asked crossing his arms over his chest.

"You make it sound like a bad thing." I sarcastically replied before putting my things in the car.

I looked back at him and saw he was frowning like I don't know what but if I hated him, I would have been proud of myself. Oh wait, I do hate him and therefore, I am so proud of myself.😏
