"HEY!" Rosy shouted at the boy now running. He had slapped her on the back of the head only moments before. She slammed her locker, turning to her best friend, Sophia. "Why is he so annoying?" She groaned to Sophia.
"I'll get him back someday," Sophia said while glaring down the hallway. Sophia and Rosy had been best friends since 2nd grade. Rosy was in love with Sophia, in a platonic way, she loved how Sophia would do anything for her, and so would she.
The boy had been doing this shenanigan for an entire week now. Rosy was so pissed at him. She just wanted to punch him in the face.
"Welp, I've got to get to class. Love you Rosy," Sophia said while hugging Rosy.
"I love you too Sophie," she said, and headed to her next class. As she hurried to the class she saw her teacher sanding outside the door. "Hello Mrs. Kent!" She said cheerfully and walked into the classroom.
"Why hello rose!" Rosy hated when she was called rose. Her mother always called her that.
She went and sat down in the corner of the room as to not have anyone sit by her.
"Hello class!" Mrs. Kent cheered.
"Hello Mrs. Kent," the class replied, now turning the attention to their teacher.
"As you guys may know, we have someone switching class to this one. His name is Kai and I would like you to welcome him into this class," just then there was a knock at the door, she glanced back at the class and smiled as if saying "he's here be nice," she walked towards the door and opened it. A tall boy stood in the door way. "Hello Kai! Come in and pick a seat," she said holding her hand out.
"Thanks," he said in a deep voice. Rosy looked up, but her face dropped instantly.
"Oh fuck," she whispered to herself. Kai look around the room trying to find a nice open seat. He suddenly locked eyes with Rosy. He smirked knowing exactly what his plan was. He started walking over, the smirk still plastered on his face.
"Why hello m'lady. Is this seat taken?" He asked with a bow. She glared.
"No i guess. Go ahead," she said with obvious anger in her voice.
"Why thank you m'lady," he said and pulled out the chair and smiled at her.
"Why did you sit by me?" She whispered. "I know you want something,"
"Why do you just assume I want something from you?" He asked with the cute smirk. She had to be honest, he was beautiful. The way the light hit his gorgeous hair, his eyes looking like hot chocolate. But she wouldn't say it to him.
"I mean you smack me on the head every single day, and you're rlly fucking annoying so I supposed you would want something,"
"Okay I'll give it to you, that makes sense. But I just wanted to sit over here because the corner is always a nice place,"
"Alright now find a partner for the project," mrs. Kent said. Kai glanced at rosy.
"Uhhhh...did you happen to catch any of that?" He asked.
"Nope, you?" Rosy asked.
"Not at all,"
"Well fuck," rosy giggled.
"Well m'lady would you do the honors of being my partner?" He asked in an animated voice.
"Why not, kind sir," she said. They stood up, rosy couldn't help but admire him. He was just so pretty. Kai turned.
"Like what you see madam?" He asked and chuckled.
"Uh-wha-what do y-you mean, I w-wasn't staring,"
"I didn't say you were staring, I asked if you liked what you saw," he laughed.
"Shut up!" She lightly punched his shoulder. The two walked up to mrs. Kent.
"Mrs. Kent?" Kai said.
"Yes?"
"Tbh we weren't listening, what are we doing," Kai asked. mrs. Kent gave him that annoyed teacher look and then proceeded to explain the lesson.

Rosy walked out of the packed school. The bright sun blinding her.
"Hey rosy!" She heard someone shout. She turned to look to called her name and there was Kai running towards her.
"Yeah Kai what's up?"
"Well, I just wanted to apologize for hitting you in the head those times. And I was wondering if you wanted to go to lunch with me sometime?" Rosy giggled.
"I'd love to and it's alright,"
"Sweeeeet," kai chuckled. "Alright I'll let you get goin bye rosy," he said while waving.
"See ya kai," she said and turned the other way. Kai turned and started punching the air in excitement because little did rosy know, kai was in love with her and the reason he was hitting her in the head was because he just wanted to joke around with her.
