" Ohhaa.." Margo yawned. " Good morning Agn-" she looked back at Agnes' bed, then realized it was 10:00. " OH MY GOSH! IM GONNA BE LATE FOR SCHOOL!!!" she yelled as she ran down the stairs. " Margo? Margo!" Gru yelled as she whizzed by him. "LATE AT SCHOOL GOT TO GO BYE!!!" she screamed as she grabbed her backpack.
" Margo," he chuckled, " it's Saturday." " Ohh.." she exhaled, " Were's Edith and Agnes?"
" Dey are at dere friend, Crissie's house." " hmmm kay." she sighed.
" Question, vhy don't yoo have any friends?" Gru asked the pre-teen. " Well... They're scared...of you..." Margo's eyes started watering, " Because your still the 2nd greatest super villain of all time and their moms' are scared that you'll freeze them with your freeze ray and that I am a bad influence." Gru looked mad, " Yoo- yoo should have told dem about how nice- arrhuhcuh!" he paused and tried again, "how...much less I have bin... A villain..." then, he thought, ' Oh vhat am I saying? I am still a super villain.. I just stole-' " I already tried that, they don't believe me, they always tease me and such." Gru sighed, " Listen, Margo, your an amazing little girl, if only-ugh... If only they understood... never mind." he changed the subject quickly. " V-vhat do you vant for breakfast?" " Pancakes."
'DING DONG!' the doorbell chimed. " Ohh..yoo have to be kidding me." Gru complained as he answered the door. "Hello," a tall, dark, feminine figure greeted with a accent similar to Gru's, " My son and I just moved in down di street and we wanted to meet you cause your house was di most.....interesting house in the suburban area. Do you mind if we come in?" Gru hesitated, " Uh, sure, just go sit on de couch and I'll be in dere in a second." he said as she entered the house, a handsome, emo looking boy followed behind. "MARGO! COME DOWN STAIRS WE HAVE GUESTS!" his yell echoed up the staircase. "Coming!" she echoed back as she walked down the stairs.
" Hello Margo, I am Adrin and des is my son, Dilyn." Adrin said. She stared at the handsome boy for about 40 seconds then finally said, " H-hi, my Margo is name- I mean my name is Margo." she blushed. " Now you say someting!" Adrin whispered into Dilyn's ear. "H-h-hey..." he blushed " D-do you like Owl City?" "OH MY GOSH YES! I-I love Owl City.." They were both as red as tomatoes.
" Margo, take Dilyn upstairs to your room wile Adrin and I chat." "Oh ok.."
" So, you were in an orphanage, Mr. Gru, whom is an epic super villain, adopted you, then you made him an epic dad as well?" "Mmhmm.." Margo nodded, " He was a HORRIBLE father until my sisters and I somehow made him a softy. He is still a villain, but we are the only ones who can boss him around." Then she giggled, " One of Gru's enemies,Vector, kidnapped us onetime, he got all mad, shattered Vector's monitor, dodged heat seeking rockets, and punched his shark right in the nose." "Dang...." Dilyn exclaimed, "your....dad.....is.....AWESOME!" " Thanks." " What is this?" Dilyn asked as he took down one of Agnes' drawings. "Oh...it's a drawing of one of Gru's MANY minions...it's by my youngest sister, Agnes." " Oh cool."
Dilyn looked very fascinated and curious. "What all weapons does your dad have and who makes them....i-if you don't mind me asking.." " Oh well.... Gru's friend, Dr. Nefario, made just about everything that Gru owns....from his own private airplane to a freeze ray. But," Margo continued, " he mishears info a lot so he has unneeded gadgets as well... Like the fart gun instead of dart gun and boogie robots instead of cookie robots." Dilyn giggled,
" Isn't that neat! What all gizmos does your dad- I just asked that question didn't I?"
"Yes,yes you did." Margo said softly, " I've never seen someone who was fascinated by Gru. They would ask questions like that, but more out of fear then interest." Margo said with a sigh. " They would NEVER ask to spend the night, only because this girl that was a TOTAL back-stabber spent the night one night and spread a rumor about Gru and I plotting to take over the world, when there's a STRICT rule against that." She continued,
" Agnes has friends because they don't know what villain means, Edith has friends because they think it's cool. So I'm the only one out of all my sisters who doesn't have a friend."
" Well you don't have to worry about that anymore," Dilyn snickered, " I'll be your boyfriend." " HUH?" " You know, as in your guy who's a friend." "Oh..." Margo blushed.
