Hello again everyone! Im sorry for not uploading in
such a long time. I just started school a month ago so I had to put aside other things and focus on studying. But luckly I'm back with new "what if" stories! I was gonna wait till October to publish this one but I couldn't wait. Since I'm in school, the uploading schedule is going to be longer than usual so I hope y'all will understand. Anyway, this story is what if loid did die in the clocktower when the bomb went off. Yes, this does sound like this is more of a angst story than a damianya fluff one but dont worry there is some fluff...... I guess- Anyway! I hope you all will enjoy it!

No one's pov:
It was a rainy, gloomy day in midday Ostania, and a familiar pink girl was spotted getting dressed in a black, simple, lolita styled dress. Though instead of her usual happy a cheery self, she was spaced out and depressed. Then after putting on her shoes, her mother called her.

Yor: "Anya! Its time to go, are you dressed yet?"

Anya: "Yes mama I'm ready!"

She then came out of her room and went to her. Then they both walked to the train station.

Anya's pov:
I still couldn't believe what happened. Its was like everything crashed before Anya's eyes. Papa died in the explosion at the clocktower....

*flashback*
Anya: "Come on doggy! We have to make it!"

I rode on the dog's back straight to the clocktower. Anya had to get up there so I could stop papa. But today, there were many people than usual in the street so we had a hard time making it.

Anya: "No! We must get up there! We have to stop papa!"

Just when me and the dog finally got out of the crowd, we heard a loud boom sound as it if it was fireworks. But instead, it was the clocktower exploding.

'No!'
'He cant be dead, papa cant be dead!'

I ran with the dog as fast as I could to the clocktower ruins. When Anya got there, I quickly searched for my papa's body. But when I finally found it, my eyes widened. It was the same image as the one Anya saw from the dog. The same image that papa was under lots of rocks and stone. He looked like he lost a lot of blood

'No, it can be true! Papa needs to alive so there could be world peace!'

I felt tears falling down my face as I heard papa's breathing fading. I then fell to my knees

"No, NOOO! PAPA!!!"

Then I started sobbing...
*end of flashback*

After seeing papa dead, I heard some WISE agents looking around so me and the dog had to hide. After the agents got papa's body, Anya went straight back to mama. Anya knew she couldnt tell her that papa died so Anya decided to pretend that he was still in the bathroom. A day later, the WISE agents told mama that papa died in a "car accident" and had been kept in the hospital papa worked in. We were now on there way to his funeral.

When they got there people greeted and sent their condolences to her now widowed mama. When all of this happened, I spaced out. Anya thought that maybe if she were quick enough, Anya would've saved papa.
