╭┈──── ◌ೄ◌ྀ ˊˎ ZIGGY THREW HERSHOULDER into the door of the Science and Nature cabin, sprinting through the entrance and sliding herself under a counter at the back of the room. Ashley was limping quickly after her, Nick holding her waist to keep her upright before letting her lean against some of the tables, making her way along by herself until she landed next to Ziggy. Nick slid the deadbolt into place, his hands shaking with nerves before he hid in place behind the desk on the other side of the aisle to the girls.
“Did we lose him?” Ziggy asked Ashley quietly, stumbling over her words, Ashley leaning her head around the counter, not seeing anybody following after them.
“Yeah… Yeah, probably,” she assured her, looking back into her eyes, Ziggy squeezing their hands together tightly for comfort. “But are you okay? You’re not– You’re not hurt, right? He didn’t hurt you?”
Ziggy saw the other girl’s eyes catching sight of the blood splattered all over her shirt and she shook her head quickly. “No, no, I’m not hurt. It’s Gary’s blood, not mine.” But she looked back up from her own shirt to point out the blood still dripping from Ashley’s nose, ankle swelling up to the size of a tennis ball. “What about you, Ash? I mean… Shit.”
