Chapter 9 : The Gods

After naming hwan yo-han the family of three would always make time for each other and would travel the whole continent

Its been two years and they've been living as a happy family

Its been 6 years since barrow and rok soo met and 5 years since they started their relationship and a year ago rok soo and barrow decided to get married

They've been happily married for a year now

Everything is going their ways and they are having the best time of their lives

But barrow felt like something was wrong.. He felt like something was big is gonna happen

He doesn't know what or why but he felt like hiding his son and husband away from the world

But he just shrug it off for now.. He'll ask rok soo about it later

Unknown to barrow that later would be one of the things he'll regret on his entire life...

Rok soo was at his usual spot next to the river reading his books when suddenly he felt a sudden pain

Rok sol looked around and he saw a little kid running towards him

He was confused why a little kid was on their backyard when the place had a barrier

Once the kid was close to him the kid trew a bag at him

He realised too late what it was

It was a poisonous gas that had little bit of devine energy from god of despair but the gas also had an aura of other gods

Barrow was walking towards the pathway towards the river to look for his husband to tell him dinner was ready

But what he stumbled upon was his husband gasping in front of a little girl

He also noticed the gas that was surrounding rok soo.. He felt his heart beat raised and run towards rok soo... He felt it.. The presence of the gods...

The fag that was surrounding his husband had the presence of the gods but he also noticed that the gas was poisonous

He run faster until he was finally able to catch his gasping husband

Barrow held him tightly afraid of letting him go

And he finally turned towards the girl standing unmoving on her spot

Barrow didn't show mercy towards the girl and casted a fire magic burning the girl alive

He heard the little girl scream for help but he didn't payed attention yo it and kept running towards their home

Once they arrived barrow rushed rok soo to their bedroom and laid him there gently

Barrow took out a high healing portion and poured it on rok soo's mouth but rok soo couldn't swallow so barrow put the potion on his mouth and transferred it towards rok soo's mouth using a kiss

He guided rok soo to be able to drink the potion properly

Barrow remains unmoving next to rok soo holding the man's hand for reassurance that he will be okay
