//Female reader is accepted into Woodbury and falls in love with the Governor. Female reader has to deal with Andrea because she tries to go against the governor//Being a lone wolf, was not the best option during the apocalypse. I've been on my own now since it all started. Now, I come in contact with groups from time to time, but I never stay with them. It was hard to trust people. That was until I came into contact, with Woodbury. Woodbury changed my view on people. Especially, the Governor that ran the town, he is a powerful man. He does whatever he needs to do, to get what he wants. This is the start of my story.
Walking along a leaf-covered street, the wind blew my H/l hair in the wind, as I breathed in the crisp autumn air. Times like this were nice when I was by myself. Being able to do whatever I wanted was a great feeling. But I knew as time went on, I wouldn't be able to survive by myself. I would need to find a group to stay with eventually. I needed to have people on my side. There were no walkers in sight. I hoped whoever I found first, or found me were good people.
As I walked down the street, I saw a huge wall in the distance, with spikes surrounding it. There was a huge gate in the middle.
"Stop where you are. Put your bag, and any weapons on the ground. Now!"
I was looking up at the 2 people on the wall. They had guns pointed towards me. What a warm welcome, I thought. If I didn't like this place, I could easily slip out without being noticed. I slowly pulled my back pack off, and threw it on the ground in front of me. Next, I did the same with my gun, which I had strapped to my waist.
"Move away from your stuff, and step towards the gate."
I slowly moved towards the gate, hoping they wouldn't shoot me. The man hopped down from the other side, while the woman stayed put. I waited for him to unlock the gate. When he unlocked the gate, he walked out to be.
"Welcome to Woodbury. We are a nice big community. You may stay here as long as you like."
"That was a nice welcome I got."
"I'm sorry, but you can never be too sure what people's attentions are."
"It's okay, I just didn't like being pointed at by two guns."
"You don't have to worry your pretty little face about anything. We'll bring your bag to you once we check it. Don't worry, nothing will be stolen. "Come with me."
I walked inside the town. There were people everywhere walking around with kids. Maybe this will be my home. The man shut the gate, and led me through the town. We stopped at two people talking. I took a look around, and noticed how clean, and nice looking it was. Everyone seemed to be happy. I should be happy they didn't send me away.
"This is the Governor. He's the one that runs this place."
The man shooed the person he was talking to, and turned to look at me.
"I see Williams, already gave you an introduction. What would your name be?"
This man had a stern look on him. He seemed kind of dangerous.
"My name is, Y/n."
"Nice to meet you Y/n, I hope you can enjoy your stay here."
It's like he hesitated while saying that, but I thought nothing of it. The man, named Williams, walked off, back to his post.
"How about I show you around."
"Okay, thank you for being so generous, Governor."
"No problem, dear."
I got butterflies in my stomach at the way he looked at me. He was so good looking, I wonder if he had a girlfriend at all. I hoped not. While he showed me around, this girl with blonde hair showed up.
