SO LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT A THING!
Ash, Berri, and I went to the movies the see the fabulous AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON. So awesome that it's name must always be capitalized. Anyways, I was told to give absolutely no spoilers -which will be hard because my excitement meter is through the roof- so I promise that this will be a no spoiler chapter.
First off, let me just clarify that this review is my opinion. If you absolutely hates it then I will respect your opinion so long as you respect mine.
Now the movie overall, I feel, was spectacular, but no movie is without flaws. The first thing that is very easy to look over, is that there were just a tad to many one-liners. They were all absolutely hilarious, but they still could have toned it down a bit. Another flaw is in the way they advertised the movie. The trailer totally made it darker then it actually is. With creepy music and scary undertones, I wouldn't have recommended it to any family with young kids before I saw it. Now that I have seen it though, I think this is the perfect movie for all ages. There are a few darker scenes, references, and cuss words, but nothing too over the top. Plus, the overused one-liners add that comedy that you can expect from all marvel movies. I could probably go on and on about little tidbits of the movie that I would've changed, but a relative recently told me that the movie was actually originally over three hours long and that the blu-Ray edition will have a special extended cut, so I don't want to judge it too soon.
Anyways, your probably wondering how the rest of our night went. Well first off I should probably tell you about our horrible movie theater experience. This specific theater we went to was kinda out of the way, but we decided to go to it anyways because it had special IMAX screens. The IMAX wasn't worth it though. Not mentioning the bad service, badly set up soda machines, and expensive prices, the theater was absolutely horrible and I won't be going back there. Do you want to know why? Because the movie FRIGGIN STOPPED RIGHT AT THE PART WHERE ******************. Sorry, I had to star out a bit of spoilers. But yes, right when it was getting to a mysterious part the movie stopped. We had to wait ten minutes for them to fix it which I spent planning the murders of everyone who worked there. Im going to say it one more time- never going back to that theater.
Afterwards, we went to my house for a sleepover. We got back pretty late though so we didn't really do much. Well, at least not to my knowing for I was the first one asleep. I think Ash and Berri might have done some thingies- not sure. The only notable thing I remember was Berri getting out her sketch book and drawing Timpote and Nerby in stripper boots.
In the morning we had waffles and played the game Injustice: Gods Among us. If you don't know what that game is, it's literally Mortal Kombat -seriously, it's made by the same people- with DC Comic superheroes like Batman and Superman. As expected, I beat them. Berri actually beat me once or twice, but I rained supreme in the end. Ash never played the game so she gets brownie points for trying.
I think that's pretty much it. AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON was awesome and you should go see it if you haven't. Come check my account out even though I don't really do anything on it. If you guys like me tell Ash and maybe I will come write something again. Till next time!
