Brrring!!! Brrring!!! Brrring!!!

The alarm clock rang, bringing Mitchell Brown back from her Hicksville of dreams. Mitchell was jolted awake from her dream world, angry that the alarm had decided to go off when she was having the best sleep of her life.

.With so much laziness within her, Mitchell Brown tossed and turned on the bed, not wanting to wake up at all. However, after five consecutive blaring of the alarm clock, a slender beautifully crafted and silk-like chocolate-skinned hand stretched out from beneath the quilt, rummaging in an attempt to locate the alarm clock in a quest to completely eliminate her morning nemesis.,

After successfully causing her nemesis to go mute, She rolled out of bed with a sloppy and sleepy eye, dragging herself to the bathroom to begin the exhausting task of getting ready for lectures.

As she approached her bathroom half asleep and was about to open the bathroom door, her foot struck something hard, causing her to almost fall over, and pains shot through her like a flaming arrow piercing through the cool raw skin. The sharp intense pains jolted her out of the dream world in which she was still floating instantaneously.

Pierced with nerve wrecking pains, she collapsed on the floor as she tried to rub the pains away. Several seconds passed before she finally recovered a bit from the world of intense pains, and it was at this point that she looked angrily at what her leg had come into contact with. At first glance, anger from the pains caused her to turn her head away cursing under her breath, but after the image registered in her mind after a few seconds, she subconsciously turned to carefully observe what she actually hit her legs against, it was then she discovered her leg had actually kicked on one of the camping materials that she had gotten the previous day.

It was at this moment her mind had a flash back, she could vividly remember how she was called and told that she was actually selected by the lecturer in charge of the department Pharmacognosy at the John Hopkins University to undertake a field research in order to discover the medicinal effects of the Azadirachta indica in layman English, the Neem tree, and it relationship with heart disease. She could also recall that the pharmaceutical institute that decided to sponsor the research placed so much importance in the research as they were looking for a breakthrough cure for cardiovascular diseases which can potentially lead to cardio arrest ultimately leading to loss of life.

When the opportunity was announced, the lecturer selected ten of his best students to join in the research expedition in which she happened to be the leader of the student faction. Upon selection, He briefed them that in order to for the research to be effective, he had chosen a place in eastern Africa where they can get unlimited access to the wild Neem tree, the reason for the decision was because, he explained, that the domestic trees found around could be contaminated therefore losing its original medicinal properties. Actually, he chose the place because he wanted to conduct another research alongside the Neem Project as he called it.

When all these thoughts flashed through her mind, she felt warmth coursing through her heart, for a whole week she has been preparing for the trip that will last them six solid months in the forest of Tanzania, precisely located near the famous and prestigious Kingdom of Zanzibar, the pride of Africa. When she thought about the fact that in two days, she will set off on a journey that would be life changing, a smile emanated on her face.

With the new found happiness to drive her, she stood up with a rejuvenated vigor, as she carefully pushed aside the things lying on the path to the bath house, then when done, she turned around gracefully towards the bath house, ready to conquer the day.

After getting set for the day, she stepped out of her apartment looking like a goddess, radiating in the early morning sun in her Tan suit and blue inner. Walking briskly towards her Mercedes Maybach S680 model car, she fumbled with the key, trying to unlock the car.

After successfully unlocking the car, she got in and drove off towards the John Hopkins University and while on her way, she checked her time, knowing that she was way ahead of schedule of reporting to school, she slowed down her speed, as she drove in a lazy manner, enjoying every moments of the city of Baltimores morning.
