Third Person POV
Steve walked down the hallways toward Loki's room, mind still buzzing from Scott's return. Scott said that they could use the Quantum Realm to travel back in time to retrieve the Infinity Stones and bring everyone back from the blip.
Finally, he reached Loki's room. He looked in and saw Loki watching sitcoms with Wanda.
"Scott's back." Steve says, still in shock. "And he says we can bring everyone else back too."
Loki's eyes widened at Steve's words. His heart began pounding in his chest again. "But the stones...the stones are gone."
"You ever hear of time travel?" Steve announces.
The small squad decided they would need to try and bring the other remaining Avengers on board. Natasha went and found Clint Barton. Scott, Steve, and Loki went to talk with Tony Stark, but he was unwilling to try and help them build a device to travel to the Quantum Realm, so they instead enlisted the help of Bruce Banner.
Eventually Tony did decide to help them, after finding an old picture of him and Peter Parker.
Loki decided he would test it first. He knew exactly what moment he wanted to go back to.
That night when he first met Stephen.
He went through the Quantum tunnel and emerged in that same living room where they had talked all those years ago.
He saw now the adoring gleam in Stephen's striking Blue eyes, those eyes that seemed to almost change color depending on the light.
"Do you consider yourself rehabilitated?" Stephen said, that deep, honey-like voice sending a shiver through Loki's body.
"I'm going to bring you back, Stephen. I won't fail you. Not again." Loki says, grabbing an old photo of the sorcerer off a shelf, then pressing the button on his quantum suit to go back to the present.
When he emerged back into the present, he was still clutching the picture in his hand, and he has tears running down his face.
"It works. I saw him." Loki says with a small sniff.
I saw him...
Phew, that was kinda difficult to write. My cat scratched up my hand pretty bad so it kinda hurts to hold up the phone LOL.
