Chapter 1: Misunderstanding

Outside the window of Cale's room, a cold snowy night could be seen. Today is December 24, 11:45 pm, 14 minutes before the christmas. The kids, Raon, On, and Hong were happily playing the snow with scarf wrapped in their neck, Cale smiled at the scene.

"Human, human! Look, it's so fun playing with the snow! Come play with us!!!!" Raon's loud cute voice ecoed in the middle of the cold night. Cale just tsk, and answered Raon.

"No, it's cold." Raon who expected this answer from Cale just sigh. On just shake her head, and Hong who was obvious to what's happening and just continue playing with the snow.

Knock* knock*

"Young master Cale, Duke Henituse requested you and the three kids to go to the dining hall for Christmas Dinner with the whole family." Ron's voice could be heard inside in Cale's room.

Cale called the kids to go inside to prefer for the Christmas Dinner. Raon, On, and Hong hearing this immediately run toward the window.

On, and Hong transformed into their human form and quickly wore the clothes Cale buys for them, Cale helped them to dress up and do their hair, Raon just sit in the bed watching them got busied. Sigh

Cale who heard Raon's deep sigh look at Raon and aproched Raon and sit beside the black dragon who is now 1m and 30cm( I just made this up :!).

Cale then took something from the drawer, Raon looked at Cale puzzled at what is his human father figure is doing. Cale's lips formed a small smile and Raon mistook it as a smirk, the black dragon suddenly shivered, not because of the cold but because of Cale's smile. "Why am I nervous about this?" *Sweat*

On Cale's hand is a blue bow tie, as blue as Raon's eyes. Raon's blue eyes shakes a little and Cale's smile(or smirk for Raon) widened.

"H-human-"
"Raon, you'll look cute with this, I'm sure of it." Cale's smile looks even creepier every second to Raon's POV, but to Cale he was smiling genuinely.

On shake her head again but her lips curved, and Hong just chuckled.

After a minute of arguing of Cale and Raon, they finally exited Cale's room. Cale is carrying the frowning and pouting Raon in his arm, Cale is frowning because Raon is heavy, On is on Cale's left and Hong is on Cale's right side. Ron is in the front. Seeing the five in the hallway, the servants quickly bowed.

When they're in front of the Dining Hall door, Ron then opened the door.

The Henituse family who is already sitting in their chairs stood up and greeted the four.

"Cale," Deruth Henituse greeted his son.

"Orabuni/Hyung," Both Basen and Lily said, their eyes gleaming with excitement and amazement.

The Duchess Violan just nodded her head then looked at Raon who is on Cale's arms, "Hello, Raon-nim," Then her eyes landed on the two kids, "Hello On and Hong," Duchess Violan smiled elegantly at the three kids. On also gracefully bow her head, the same with Hong.

Raon's loud voice ecoed in the dining hall, "Hello Duke Deruth, Hello Duchess Violan, Hello Basen and Lily!" His voice was happy as if he was not sulking just a minute ago.

Cale, the kids then sits on their own sits. The servants then started to serve the foods on the table. Hong and Raon's eyes started to sparkle at delicious foods.

"Human! Human! I-i want that roasted turkey! That too, ahhhh heaven!!!!"Raon
"Ah! Fooooddd!"Hong

On's just chuckled and shake her head. Cale's lips curved at the two children.

"Yes, yes!" Cale said.

Raon was currently eating spaghetti so there's sauce on Raon's mouth. Cale quickly wiped the sauce on Raon's mouth. Duke Deruth stop eating and watch Cale and the kids interaction. A bitter smile appair on the Duke's face, Cale's such a good father, taking care of his children while Deruth never got the chance to be a good father, no, he always had but he always ignore it. Seeing Deruth's bitter smile, Violan held her husband's hand and smiled, Deruth looked up and also smiled at his wife reassuring her that he is okay. Deruth then look at Ron and smiled, "Ron you can joins us at this dinner, oh and also where's your son Beacrox? He can also join us, Theresa call Beacrox." Duke Deruth said.

The maid called Theresa bowed and started going to the kitchen to look for Beacrox.

"Ah... No need Duke Henituse," Ron smiled like a weak old man that made Cale nervous.

"No, I already called your son Beacrox, and I'll be really happy to see you and your son join us for this Christmas Dinner." Duke Deruth smiled.

Ron couldn't refuse this and sits on the chair. Duke Deruth then ask the servants to add two more plates.

Theresa who couldn't find Beacrox in the kitchen immediately go to look him in his room but when Theresa is at the door and about to knock when she heard a moan coming from Beacrox room. Her eyes widened and about to go back when he heard him calls Cale's name. Her eyes widened even more and her mouth is shaped O that at any moment her mouth is about to fall.

"Ah~ Cale!"

"No, this is a misunderstanding!!!" She thought, her face is red as red as tomato.
