Chapter 4 is here!

George's POV

I followed the directions Abby had given me and we soon arrived at her house.
It wasn't extremely big, but it looked like it had lots of room for Abby and her girlfriend.
I was going to be staying in her guest room, which was good because I didn't want to sleep on the couch.
As I opened my car door, something hard hit me in the side of the head.
"Catch!" Abby laughed
Thankfully there were only two keys on the Keychain, so it wasn't heavy enough to hurt me
"Ouch Abby, how rude" I groaned.
"Tch, little baby" she mocked as I grabbed the fallen keys and headed towards the door
I put the keys in and walked inside, surprisingly it was quite, no sign of Abby's girlfriend.

Abby rushed inside not bothering to take off her shoes and ran up the stairs,
I placed my shoes onto their shoe rack in the closet and sat on the black leather couch. It was facing a TV over a lit fireplace so I assumed she was probably asleep.
As I took off my jacket I heard huge amounts of laughter coming from upstairs, then in the blink of an eye Abby and her girlfriend were rushing down the stairs with red faces and small giggles
"You look like a dork.." I heard Abby say to the woman "Oh my God shut up!"
I stood up and when Abbys girlfriend saw me, something inside of me turned sour. It made me feel uneasy.

"You must be the girlfriend I've heard so much about" I said holding out my hand
"Yes that's me, I've heard a lot about you as well. Abby says you're her cousin but she thinks of you as her older brother" Abbys girlfriend said, while looking me up and down like she thought I was trouble before taking my hand and griping it firmly.
"My names George, and you?" I say pulling my hand away slowly
"My names Mandy. It's a pleasure to meet you George" Mandy said as she took Abbys hand and led her to the kitchen
I followed but I was told they needed time to talk for a bit.
So I sat down and went onto my phone, messaging someone who had texted me a little while ago

D: Hello Georgie :) what's up????

G: nothing much, same boring stuff I guess

I replied with that hoping he wouldn't suspect anything
I felt like I was thinking about dream a lot. That was another reason why I decided not to tell him, because if I visited him I might get attached and feel hurt when I have to leave.

D: Any plans for the holidays?

G: nope not many just staying with family

I lied
Partially, after all I was staying with Abby
Mandy and Abby soon returned with plates in their hands
"Here George, let's eat I'll put on something on the TV!" Abby said, giving me a plate while reaching for the remote.
I opened the pizza boxes I set on the coffee table and served myself, I grabbed two pieces and put them on my plate.
I realized we didn't have anything to drink, so I got up but as I did, I felt a tug on my jacket.
"Where are you going? Abby asked me.
"I'm just going to the kitchen to grab us something to drink, is that okay?"
She nodded so I got up and began walking to the kitchen.
